1. Dak played great again. He didn't make any mistake, was efficient, and just overall played a solid game. He should have no problems winning the come back player of the year.

2. I'm super impressed with the defense. These guys were outplaying the offense for the majority of the game and that's a great sight to see considering how well the offense was playing.

3. McCarthy and his bone head clock management is just mind boggling. This is 2 weeks in a row that he has allowed precious time to just go off the clock. This week was even more mind boggling. You allow basically 2 mins, with 2 time outs, to just go away? That is inexcusable.

4. Diggs is playing like an All Pro. That's it.

5. Parson is, once again, proving to be the best linebacker AND the best defensive lineman on the team. He is a force and I am ecstatic that we have him on our team. Him and Diggs are culture changers.

6. The run game was great again. I wish Zeke could have gotten his 100 yards, but he was close enough. Pollard is still making the most of his carries, although I'd personally like to see him get more. I feel like we could have buried them even more if we would've just kept running the ball.

7. The offensive line had their hiccups in pass protection, but overall once again played great football. I have no complaints in that department.

8. The defense forcing turnovers is a beautiful thing. It's just wonderful to watch them actually try to get the ball instead of just trying to make a tackle.

9. I'm still not happy with the red zone play calling. I feel like Kellen Moore tries to get too cute with reverses or tries to pass the ball too much. Zeke and Pollard were running at will. Pound the rock and make them stop us. Even though I still believe Dak got in with that sneak, the ball still should have went to Zeke.

10. I'm digging using the offensive lineman as a full back to block. That is some creative stuff that we're not used to seeing.

Overall a great performance. I wanted a blow out and that's what was delivered. I don't believe the Eagles are a good team and what we did to them is what you're supposed to do against bad teams. I think we still have a lot of work to do. It's only Week 3. I think we're clearly the best team in the division though and I look forward to see more improvement every week.

Finally , my guy gives Dak the credit he deserves.
I've judged him fairly all year. I thought he played great Week 1, just okay Week 2, and then great again Week 3.

I wish ya'll would screenshot when I do so you would stop forgetting and getting me mixed up with the ones that actually never give Dak any credit. Because that's not me.

I disagree w your assessment of game 2. But fair enough. I do agree w the rest of your opinion on how you have been keeping on open mind on his performances.

This team is just totally different when they are playing ahead. Balanced attack, while keeping the defense fresh is a winning formula.

Agree with most of your points, but with exceptions:

1. Dak made no mistakes? Surrounded by defenders in his own end zone and he got stripped for a td. No need to try for the heroic play, take the safety. Fumbled the snap, luckily he was able to recover it, many times you don't. Blew at least two play calls, whatever play he ran wasn't what the rest of the team ran.
Now it was an overall very good performance, but he made several mistakes that he just shouldn't make.
7. No complaints on the o-line? Surely ye jest, Williams and Biadasz both had overall mediocre games, both got blown back multiple times, inexcusable if you call yourself a starting NFL lineman. Smith and Martin had their expected great games, even Steele outplayed the "starting" center and left guard. Played "great football"? NO.

To add to your post, it bothers me that late in the game, when the Eagles were down THREE, count 'em, THREE offensive lineman Hurts had time to complete throws, and had at least two more well thrown balls that were dropped. Wouldn't have mattered as far as the win goes, but as you mentioned the Eagles aren't a very good team, their receivers in general and tight ends in particular were open way too much and way too many times. The defensive secondary, with the exception of Diggs, look lost as a goose much of the time, no way a tight end should be 10 yards away from the nearest defender.

It's early, again not dissing the team overall, I expect them to get better, but if anyone thinks they are one of the top 10 or so teams now, think again.

Just like against the Chargers, Dak played well and the obvious formula for Dallas success is for Dak to pass less than 30 times a game in a more controlled passing attack. He does not need to do the 400+ yard passing games but instead manage the game with the assistance of a good running game and sound defense. Dak's obvious mistake was the end zone fumble which resulted in a Philly TD evening the score at 7. However, with the Dallas defense playing well against a poor Philly offense Dallas was able to rebound and take a commanding lead.

This forum and the Cowboys do much better when the focus is on all aspects of the team and not individual players.

Good stuff, especially #5.

Notice neither of those players has Garrett stench on them.

Getting that out of the building has been quite the "process."

Agree with all but this post. Our O-line was shaky Biadasz was tossed around and on the play where the Eagles took the fumble from Dak for the score, Biadasz seemed to play ole' with the DT. Williams was poor too. The holding penalties and he also was pushed around.

The Eagles are not a good team, and we got away with it because we are a better team. Against good teams, these weaknesses will be amplified.

I actually thought Dak was just as good last week. Very efficient, took what they gave him, followed the game plan excellently. Like last week the opposing defense decided to die by the run instead of through the air and that's OK. Comparing games Dak had a much higher rating this week (143 vs 88) which was related to his int that bounced off CeeDee's hands but his numbers were exceptionally similar.

I totally agree with your list on all counts.

On #9 You just gotta go with the one who brung you ! Another #9 point why not employ #10?

On #7 (OL hiccups) the hiccups were in pass protection as you say and it's Biadasz and Williams. Biadasz needs to get stronger ... a bunch stronger as these 1 techs are smashing him and running his not so Biadasz over. Williams is holding a lot but I'm kinda OK with that. I think whenLC comes back we might plug him in at LG. Run blocking has been very good. Philthy has the best interior DL in the league or is tied with Tampon Bay.

Obviously VERY pleased with the game results and with it being against the hated Philthy team that is just icing on the cake.

The most important thing you wrote here is "him and Diggs are culture changers"

I honestly did not have a problem with the red zone play calling. The 4th down call was the corrrect call and on the TD pass to Wilson, CD was wide open early.

Dak really only main area he could improve on right now.

I thought it was Dak's worst game of the three. Not that he was terrible but as you pointed out he made a number of mistakes. Maybe he was too emotional?

I also agree that the center of the line is concerning. Both of them really struggle with power. Put McGovern in at LG & use CWill as your fullback & to keep the protection hits off Zeke. Be getting CWill or someone prepared at center. May have to pull the plug on TB.

McCarthy's game management is ...... unbelievable.
