Thanks for that. So basically a trade partner or release prior to June 1?
Where do we stand cap room wise?
salary cap hit as of today for 2022 is 227M. with biggest
Dak at 34, restructure candidate
Lawrence 27M - 19M dead cap but of course post june 1st, will be half that.
cooper 22M - 6M dead cap and perhaps restructure candidate
Martin 20M - 17M dead cap - defintley a restructure.... that's way too much for guard spot, I don't care how good you are
Zeke 18m - 30M cap hit...yuck. he is hear at least one more year
Smith 17M - probably restructure
Collins 15M, 13M cap hit....not sure if we restructure, or post june 1st casualty or perhaps a trade of some kind...
Jaylon 11.8, 6.8 dead money...but we have to make a decision on him right after season so no post june 1st
Anthony Brown 6.5M, with 1.5M dead cap....I assume he will be gone.
Jarwin 6.2M, with 2M cap hit, so probably a post june 1st casualty or he has to reduce his salary (by half at least)
there is a whole bunch in the 1-3M range....but just by a few maneuvers we can easily gain around 30M in salary cap....not sure if this accounts for restructures that was done to couple of contracts we just redid.....
depends on where the cap is, and I expect it to be back to where it was supposed to be prior to pandemic, so perhaps in the 220-230 range at least...
