I guess dominating the divisional games and convincingly beating a team on the road that everyone knows the Cowboys are the better team.

Other than that, I’m excited.

Personally I think this is a legit contending team. Main reason is this team is not dependent on 1 or 2 guys that must perform at a high level just to have a chance. Right now I am see several guys showing up game to game and producing. Offense we see Dak leading this offense, Zeke and Pollard showing up, we see TE out making plays and the WR making plays and of course OL playing great ball . Defense we are seeing Parson, Oas, Diggs, Kearse, even Brown has been showing up and others on defense making plays and I do think with the return of DLaw this defense will become even better along with some others like Gallimore and Joseph. They look like and are playing like a team where many parts are all coming together and stepping up in big moments to change the game.

So far, they have faced 3 tough teams and one middling team.

They are 2-1 vs playoff level teams and 1-0 vs teams they should beat.

I definitely like what I've seen to date. Defense is creating turnovers, pressures and sacks.
Offense is more consistent, and they are missing two starters, and they can be deadly with the run and pass.
Moore seems to have the playcalling down to a tee for feeling of a game imo.
Quinn has his guys believing and buying into what he's selling.
Young guys are stepping up big time. Vets are playing like seasoned vets.

I haven't seen anything to say they are pretenders.

The explosive Cowboys offense has garnered much of the headlines in the early going, but the biggest breakout star is playing on the other side of the ball. Cornerback Trevon Diggs is up to five interceptions on the season after two Sam Darnold picks helped produce 10 Dallas points in a 36-28 win over the Panthers at Jerrah World. The 23-year-old became the first Cowboy since the merger to record an interception in each of the first four games of a season. Carolina got back into the game in the fourth quarter -- a portion of the game Diggs watched from the sideline with what the team termed "tightness in his back." The young playmaker's presence on the field has quickly become essential.

What will it take to convince you that the Cowboys are for real this season? I know that nobody wants to jump the gun and get their hearts broken when they falter at the end of the season, but is their a point where you say to yourself that this is the year?? For me, I think it would be winning the next 3 before the bye, including the Vikings game in their house. That would lead up to the bye and would give them alot of momentum towards the rest of the season. Of course, beating KC and then the Raiders on Thanksgiving would be a cherry on top. Go Cowboys!!
make the playoffs.....win a playoff game at home.....and hopefully make it to the NFCCG....not sure we are ready for that yet....but that would be great.

If anyone after watching these first 4 games doesn't think this team is for real, then they don't know football or they're just on an agenda.

dallas has looked good the past 2 games, but it was a very bad phil team, and a not so good panther team.
Next is the not so good nyg's and then same for NE, and possibly Minn is not very good. So they should beat all 3 of those teams like they have these past 2.
So win the next 5 and then I will think maybe they are a contender.

Dallas defense does look much better, offense looks better, and I cant believe they are running the ball lol.
I just am waiting for the wheels to fall off, but maybe they dont, have to wait and see.

i'll go a little further and say win at least 5 of the next 7 (thru Thanksgiving) and don't regress to some of the buffoonery we've seen in recent years when facing a strong team. The defense has to tighten up before meeting more efficient teams and Dak needs to impose his will on a better defense. I think Dak might actually be ready for that step,,, defense looks like its headed that direction.

I have watched all the other top teams I don't see any major advantage over the Cowboys. They all seem to be giving up a lot of points and Cowboys have the offense to match any team in the league.

I'm surprised you didn't throw in a 'hater' or two.

We're not allowed to be a bit more reserved based on past history? Dallas could lose the next 8 games before finally winning another and you would still think the team is for real and slated to dominate the universe. And should anyone think different you would be front and center with your usual 'hater' and 'agenda' comments.

Super bowl champions don't get crowned after week 4 of a season.........

Winning three in a row and beating the Chargers and Carolina was pretty convincing for me.

I will start to believe when they make it to a NFC championship game. See this song and dance rodeo before.

Im so excited though and the sky is the limit with this team, now i will just enjoy the ride and hope that Dallas finally gets a divisional round win

This team gives me a 2016 vibe. Not saying they’ll win 10 or 11 in a row, but they are playing well and in a groove. The difference this year is experience at the most important position and the defense.

One is highly, highly likely to be dissappointed if the criteria for getting emotionally involved with a team is based solely on whether the team plays in an NFCCG or Super Bowl. Only 4 make the former (counting the AFCCG) and 2 the later. I’ve been a fan closing in on 6 decades and a season ticket holder north of 3 decades. All I ever expected is the team to be competitive and, therefore, a chance to win every game. There have obviouly been periods when that was not the case, most notably the Campo era, but there were times during the late Landry era, too.

For many years I watched this team do a December fade. I'd get my hopes up again and again, only to see my Christmas ruined by a collapse. I'll believe it's real if we keep going strong into January.

Seem some are comparing this team to past Cowboys teams for me I'm comparing this current team with other teams around the NFL. Personally I think we match up well with any team out there. This is not to say I think Cowboys will run the table no more than I think Cardinals or Rams will run the table.
