Yes, this is about getting rid of the weakest link on this defense and allowing other defensive players to step up and improve the defense and therefore the Cowboys chances to be serious contenders for the Super Bowl this season.

I think that’s overblown IMO. Outside of Lawrence, Lewis and Brown it’s all new fresh blood on defense.

I doubt Lewis and Brown are super pro Smith. It would be Tank IMO

Again, we seem to have mature players, and as long as we have those mature players in those key leadership (player) positions, we should be good-to-go.
