I am.

Smart enough to know you don’t guarantee $7 million to a guy who’s bad enough to be cut a month into the season.

There’s no defending that so you should quit trying.

Ok your right but remember this people get married only to realize it’s not working. People make mistakes in life, in business and in sports. The team had no idea that they would have Parsons on the team. Also if Jaylon blows a knee out Sunday, he is not just paid through next year, we would have to hold a roster spot for him. They made a huge mistake and realized that they need to get divorced!

Maybe to get Cox more playing time and the other LBs are better on special teams?? I know he’s not the player he was 2 years ago, but I don’t like messing with chemistry when they’re clicking like this.

Meh, he would have NEVER made it this far with Belicheat. Matter of fact, he would've never drafted him. Hey, he's a GREAT young man and represented the star with class but bidness is bidness. I wish him well.

I threw a fit when we drafted him. I guess I was right.

I was all for drafting but do it in around 5 or 6. They did it with a top 5 pick in the 2nd round.

LOL..........Jaylon was hurting chemistry. Some bottom of the barrel idiot acting like he is the big dog? Nobody wants a fool like that around.

LVE should be on his way to the office next. Give him one more game, and if he gets trucked, dragged, or misses too many assignments, que the music " For he's a jolly good fellow!”
I know this thread is about Jaylon but this made me laugh…pretty hard

I am crushed by this. Truly. I had hoped he would improve from his 2018 season...not decline.

I'm not crushed they cut him, I get that.

I'm crushed because I bought a signed jersey of his in 2018 and put it away...knowing he'd be in the HOF some day.

Now I've got a signed jersey with the wrong number and he isn't even a Cowboy any more.

Anyone want to buy a jersey?

:lmao::lmao2:

Good move. Having a healthy high dollar player on the bench makes things akward. If he gets injured then your on the hook for his 2022 salary as well

Very surprising at this point considering we had an out before March and also restructured his contract. I think he was headed for more reduced playing time with Neal coming back. Perhaps Cowboys gave him an option? Hey we can keep you with a further reduced role or move on?

The timing is just strange when he was having a better season over last and there was no financial benefit to cutting him now. Coaches either felt he was a big liability and taking up a spot or Jaylon just didn't want to play a reduced role.
