Take about Philly and Green Bay.Wow. I'm surprised. I was just starting to think he was going to rebound and be a lot better.
Do you think another team will pick him up?

His son has started taking over in 2014 and was completed in control of football operations once he tossed Garrett out.Maybe Jerry is finally coming to grips with his mortality and stop pissing away seasons with questionable personel moves.
Looks like reporting has gotten this right. Jaylon bought in and was well liked, but his injury guarantee, inability to play STs and just the fact there are better players made this the required decision.
And it makes no sense from his POV to relieve that Injury Guarantee - at all.
....I think Dlaw has been spinning the wheel since Parsons impact first game. Parsons getting bubble gum money compared to HOT BOYZ founder. Dallas D doing things so much better without him. I would have a hard time sleeping at night....wonder what tank lawrence and L collins are thinking this morning
Its all subjective but based on what i've read he wasn't bad in the locker room...it wasn't a cut about his play. IT was all strictly about money. Which is fine. Also just read he was asked to take the injury clause out of his deal and he refused.
I disagree. If this was the last year of Jaylon's deal he would've still got the same number of snaps. IF not then it was incompetence by the team because he should not be playing more snaps than guys who are better than him. And we all know he wasn't the worst linebacker on the field with LVE out there. It was all about his play in reference to his pay. He is being paid a lot of money and is not producing.
His play is not worth the $9M liability for injury.
Amen great post could not agree more .
And regardless of the cap hit. It’s a sign of a coaching staff constantly self-evaluating and looking for ways to improve, regardless of win-loss record. A refreshing change in Dallas.

Why else? It’s been reported that he wasn’t cut because of his play though.
Because they only told Jaylon he was going to be released last night. It doesn't happen until business hours.not sure why but Adam Schefter said this release is not official until today at noon.
