Why does he seem to have a bad rap here or some believe we need to replace him?

It seems like he is doing a solid job out there as the starter for being a 2nd year player drafted in the 4th round.

Dallas has the highest graded oline.

He can't be doing poorly.

Am I missing something?

He got pushed around against Philly....Cox and company...so people ran with it. They like doing that....he and Williams struggled in that game, but bounced back nicely against Carolina.

When he has struggled in pass protection it has been obvious. That's my guess. Cause overall it seemed the board loved the pick and wanted him to play last year.

I think he'll improve, get better and turn out to be a good overall center. I think some have gotten spoiled in a short amount of time due to landing day 1 studs in Martin and Frederick. And then Tyron Smith turned out to be a stud in short order at LT.

Not just Philly. When a lineman gets bull rushed into the QB it is pretty noticeable and we saw it when Vita Vea did in Week 1. Then we saw it the following week when Linval Joseph did it. Then Hargrave had his way with him. And it wasn;t just Biadasz. Connor Williams got bent over the blocking sled a few times but Cox and Hargrave too.

I really think it is a technique issue with the both of them. They are fine run blocking but pass blocking they tend to get shoved around a few plays by the bigger stonger DTs.

There were a few very noticeable plays where he had a hard time anchoring against a huge DT and the pocket collapsed (Vita Vea for example), and I think people are focused on that even though those plays have not been indicative of most downs. I think overall he has done a good job.

Have you ever heard the saying “a rising tide raises all ships?”

I’d be interested in seeing Biadasz’s individual grade. That said, I usually don’t put too much stock in PFF grades one way or the other.

his pass protection against DTs isn't very good. Same for Williams. They both looked bad in the Philly and Tampa games.

Vea and Cox are issues for most team's o-line. Did he and Williams have better outings vs L.A. and Car? Didn't Carolina draft a stud at DT year before? Out of Auburn. Did he have a good game last Sun? Serious questions for anyone at the zone that may know, I'm not being sarcastic.

A few plays where he’s had issues get blown out of proportion and cloud some people’s judgment.

A few key mistakes for a young player will get them a bad rap quickly, especially since his mistakes are right in front of Dak/Zeke typically.

Me? I think I rather have Farniok in there. He's a guy that had a great camp and plays center, Guard and tackle. He's nasty. That said, I like Tyler. B. Its not that he has played poorly..its that, is he the best guy we have? I truly dunno. I guess we have to trust the staff. BTW..lets give major Kudos to Will McClay and the scouts.Just look at the talent they have scouted and brought in. Tyler B and McGovern looking like steals. Steele is a major find as a UDFA. and OSA at dline. We filled holes, needs and improved just like that. It tells me a scouting dept is worth its weight in gold if they are good. Conversely, they can break a team into shambles just as fast if they are bad..ie The Eagles. look how bad they are. Its because of Roseman and his scouts. They are bad. Glad 2 have Will M.
