Something someone with a Romo profile pic couldn’t possibly understand. You aren’t owed an explanation. The Super Bowl MVP and Troy’s stats from that game speak for themself. Romo nor his fanboys will ever be able to grasp it.

I loved Romo, but Dak is the leader that Romo never did become.

Romo had “his guys”. Everyone respects and connects with Dak.

Dak is a leader of men, and he’s playing as efficiently as Romo ever did.

Dak has been a leader since he was a rookie - natural one. Romo, tried to be one.

Aikman also said he saw Jaylon Smith get in a for few plays for the Packers today, Smith was inactive. Troy must have been feeling the after affects of his concussions today.

He also said Anthony Brown was a good one.

Bingo! Not bashing Romo but this is a fact. He simply didn't connect with the entire team like Dak.

He was talking about Jaylon in Dallas this year. But the order in which he said it, did make it seem like he was talking of Jaylon as a Packer.

not my words...it was his:omg:

Joe Buck asked him what makes this team so different from the past 20 years.

Aikman didn’t mince his words. He said #4 under center:omg:
Even Tony knew that…that’s why he retired. This was probably Daks worse game this year. He was off but still-lead the team to victory

No he didn't. You're taking what he said about how this is probably the best well-rounded team Dallas has had in a long time, and his complimentary words towards Dak being under center, and extrapolating some divisive nonsense about the two QBs that never existed in the conversation.

Aikman also said Amari wouldn’t return after he was limping slightly. He was back on the field a few plays later. He made himself look really stupid on that call. He even joked saying he would keep his mouth shut from now on.

We were talking leadership - you didn't answer the question.

BTW just cause I have a Romo pic doesn't mean I think he's better that Dak or anyone else - had him for different reasons.

Dak is Aikman’s successor. Romo was a fish outta water as far as traditionally great Dallas QBs are concerned. He had some obscene obsession with emulating Favre and being terrible at it.
Great analogy, I still argue with Tony the team would still have the same win loss record. He was so beat up near the end, Dak is more structured like Troy so no surprise. Tony is without a doubt the better athlete. My two cents

I would have argued this at one point, but Dak is changing my mind.

If Romo had Daks leadership I think a few of our teams go further with him then they did. These players love Dak. I don't think Romo was a true team captain and you really need that out of your QB. This coming from Romos biggest fan. Skill wise I think Romo was a little better. Not by a lot tho. However, He definitely never had a defense like this for him.

I’ll be perfectly honest I think Dak is better than Aikman was. This is coming from someone who watched Aikman’s entire career. Aikman never had to do as much as Dak. When Aikman had to carry the Cowboys his first couple of seasons he got beat up. When everything got put on his shoulders later in his career he got beat up again. It doesn’t matter what kind of team the Cowboys have Dak always performs at a high level. He took a 4-12 team and turned it into a 13-3 team as a rookie. The fans on this board who continue to doubt him are complete numbskulls!

anyone catch that?:omg:
I didn't hear that. Did he say that explicitly, or are referring the conversation between Buck and Aikman about this being the first team since Aikman left that looks this good? I'm a huge Romo fan -- the early years Dak had nearly identical QBR numbers but if you looked at the breakdown Dak was a lesser passer but made up for it by his plays with his legs. Dak has advanced as a passer since then. The 'new' throwing motion two years really raised his game to a new level as a passer.

At baseline Dak is a lower risk / lower reward QB than Romo. I would argue that Romo is the more creative of the two, and I would also add that Romo had to overcome Garrett's offense. Romo made a lot of guys rich, so I'd like to see a WR leave here for a big contract only to drop out of the league without Dak. Dak has had a lot of turnovers (fumbles) this year, which is uncharacteristic but needs to go away. A lot of talent on this team as well.

Having said all that, I think the case can be made he is better than Romo though I'd like to see what Romo would do with this team.

Super Bowl MVP speaks for itself, so much so, that to have it explained to you how that aligns with leadership makes me question your intelligence. But I get it. You have a Romo pic and are casting doubt on the “leadership” of a QB who accomplished more in one season than Romo did over a 13 year career. You are owed no explanation because your sour puss agenda is obvious to see

the highest passer rating of all time in a single season...

Dak is playing incredible right now, don't get me wrong but he doesn't even have the highest passer rating this season. So technically he's on pace for the 3rd highest passer rating of all time using your criteria.

Not an indictment on Dak, but come on man its not hard to look stuff up.
