Always interesting…..
Here’s what jumps out to me regarding snaps:
  • The Cowboys had 89 total snaps to the pats 54. Wow.
  • Tony Pollard only played 26 snaps.
  • Connor Williams played all 89 snaps. He now leads the league in holding penalties! What an embarrassment he’s become.
  • Those of us thinking the release of Jaylon Smith meant more snaps for Jabril Cox- he only had 1 snap.
  • Rookie DL Osa and Golston had 39 and 32 snaps.
What else jumps out for you?

One other note on Connor Williams. I’ve noticed this year that he is the only starting O-lineman that never plays a single snap on special teams. That’s extremely rare. The reason? He’s not reliable enough to not get bull-rushed into a blocked XP, FG or punt.

Interesting. I hadn't paid attention to that before.

He has improved very little from his project status when drafted out of UT. Bulking up isn't getting stronger.

Pretty evident the shopping list in the off season is going to be for some big uglies.

The coaching staff knows he's a liability. Collins needs to be starting at LG for our next game.

Coop has my respect for his toughness and ability to make plays when he’s not feeling well physically.
Yeah I think he had a hamstring going into last week, and got banged up in the end zone on top of that.

Add in the chronic foot problem. He needs some couch time.....but we really needed him out there without Gallup. Two good WR aren't enough anymore.

Absolutely. And I’ve been saying since last year, this team must consider drafting its next LT if the opportunity is there in the draft. Tyron Smith has always been one of my favorites but he is clearly on borrowed time. Thinking he’s got a couple of more good years in him is nothing more than wishful thinking.

At that particular skill, I would think he is ahead of Biadasz, but ok.

Not as if it's a problem but worth a mention for sure.

Up to now, Moore seems to be very good at identifying one on one matchups. Cooper has been a catalyst for CeeDee and Wilsons opportunities. The defense slide the inside safety over to Cooper, many times this is why Schultz/Jarwin are open. Or Cooper will cause the linebacker and middle safety to close in on him. Teams understand Coopers capabilities. I bet Kellen recognizes how important he is to this offense. He's more valuable than has stats report.

not a shock on pollards snaps were low,

they were focusing on shutting the run down and also applying a lot of pressure on Dak,

so Zeke whos a true 3 down back got the bulk of the plays and when its dog fight ie tied or playing from behind and you throw for 450yards i mean where was Pollards snaps coming from? zeke had 70 yards rushing and 50 yards catching, made soem tough blocks etc and nice moves for chain movers.

games like that will happen and zeke was playing tough 3 down football. That what hes paid for and he was productive , runs , catching, and blocking..

sorry that fans here want to believe pollards better , hes not, go check out Hunts body when hes asked to be a Chubb, hes not..i love the 1-2 combo but ONE will always be zeke if hes productive and well so far, he is..

yes Cwill and Biadsz playing next to each other is crack in our Dam and not sure whos fault it is on each play, only the coaches breaking downs responsibility's know but one of them might be replaced at the bye.

McGovern is an option and with time maybe you make that switch.
whatever the coaches feel is where ill sit.. they know whats really going on..

What jumps out at me is that you actually had a thread without mentioning Dak Prescott......Remarkable.

Has there ever been a more complete makeover on the DL than what we are seeing from last year to this year? For any team ever?

Gregory is the only player on the DL from last year getting snaps. Gregory (36), Watkins (40), Odig (39), Basham (35), Golston (32), Urban (19), and Bohanna (14). Only 36 of 215 snaps on the DL from a player on the team last year. 83% of the Snaps are with new players. Amazing and complete makeover of the DL in just 6 months too, from April to now.

We also lost 7 points on Dak's TD that was not reviewed and our red zone mistakes were unacceptable today. This game wouldn't have been close if not for that and a missed FG...
I agree. Blocked punt should have got us a TD. He was over the goal line on 3rd down but they wouldn’t review it. Half his body was over. That and the FG that was missed took 10 points off the board. Just glad he hit the others. I thought for sure he would miss that 49 yarder. Another 5 yards and that’s a miss.

I'd like my 2nd Round draft picks to not be projects in the first place. He's not getting re-signed so that was a waste.
