I wish they would just had the balls to the roof and get back in the line. Yeah I don’t like it either. But this isn’t the same NFL or world I grew up in. I just ignore it

You're kidding right? You never saw Billy White Shoes? Elmo Wright? Butch Johnson? "The Fun Bunch." Remember Vai Sikahema going Rocky on the goal post pad at the Meadowlands? Dudes have been celebrating TDs for as long as there has been football. As long as they don't get in the face of an opponent I don't have a problem with it. This game is hard.. The other guys are being paid millions to make it hard on you.. You SHOULD celebrate when you succeed. Your lawn will be fine.. just water it when the kids finish playing on it.

Yep and all I can ask as a fan is as long as your celebration is not costing us 15 yards then I don't care. You are right celebrations are nothing new and have been around a long time.

yep this is what i see.

I don’t know but opposing fans hate it… which makes me like it.

Pats fans were getting all irate with it.

One Pats fan said that Lamb looks like an anorexic alien.

I love pissing off that fan base.

6'2" 189lbs which would make him lean.

First down.. or is that the TD celebration. I get those two mixed up.

It's cool and I love seeing kids emulate this at the pee wee football games.

"look, my baby boy is doing the crackhead!" lol sweet.

What is going on with that? I don’t get it.

It’s been going on for a year and a half now and I just don’t know what’s going on.

I don't know, this all i got......perhaps? Is he a wrestling aficionado?

The phrase “Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?” is a reminder of his humble beginnings & how her persevered over all his set backs to become “The most electrifying man in sport entertainment”.

So we still dont have an answer. You think one of these clueless reporters would ask him already.
Someone’s probably enlighten the thread by now but it’s a tribute to the phrases “slime” and “wipe your nose” that Atlanta-based rappers have really gravitated to and made mainstream.

It’s a niche pop culture thing so no shame in not knowing.

I read somewhere that the nose wipe is some gang sign. Seems ridiculous...but what the heck do I know. Here's an excerpt from the Urban Dictionary:
Wipe your nose
This is a gang term. It is placing your index finger below the nose signifying the other members that their opponent is near by. They could be facing the person that is being flagged. They do this to scare off unwanted company or to keep sight of someone. It doesn’t always necessarily mean murder. Usually someone is being robbed or targeted for some act of violence.
That’s the origin of it but it’s been adopted by rap and pop culture to the point where it’s not that harsh of a thing. It’s kinda just a “swag” thing now not a real threat thing.
