People are going to have to come to terms that some good players are going to have to be shown the door for long term salary cap success. This was New England’s specialty, Dallas has always been horrible with these types of decisions.
The time to get good at it is now, before it’s to late and you’re losing good AND young players because you can’t afford them.
I think sacrificing players like Coop, Tank, and eventually Zeke are decisions this team is going to have to make if they want to enjoy anything other than abbreviated success. They have players in those positions already that can be paid much less that are comparable, and you can always draft good RBs.
It’s getting close to time for a lot of tough decisions this franchise is going to have to make. When in doubt go with good, young, and cheap (or cheaper) before better, extremely high paid, and in their prime now guys. Just my 2 cents.
