Glad to see those who cover the NFL sees how great of a player Parsons is. Parson showed vs Minn he can be a playmaker be it at DE, OLB or ILB fact is the man has the talent to allow Quinn to run his defense as he sees fit and to use different combinations of players

Hell, as strange as it sounds, his biggest competition may be his damn teammate........Diggs (LOL)

Watching Parson and this defense in general continue to grow and develop is pretty exciting. I will continue to say this defense has only scratched the surface and I do think this defense will be playing at a much higher level as we move into the stretch run of this season.

Made this point in the game thread...among other things, he single-handedly eliminated those RB/FB swing passes which is a major staple of Minny's offense. Great performance

Sadly, Diggs will end up losing DPOY to somebody like TJ Watt.

Parsons is all but locked up. His competition is ..

Surtain … meh
JOK … Has .5 sacks and only 29 tackles
Samuel Jr. …2 picks and playing well. But nowhere near Micah
Odafe Oweh … 3 sacks and quietly good. But just a role player on their defense

DPOY is there for the taking. The Rams defense is not as good as last year so that may hurt Donald. Myles Garrett is in the mix. There's the feast or famine narrative floating out there about Diggs, which I believe is false and unfair. But he's still in the mix. If Parsons strings together a few more dominant games, especially the high profile games coming up later in November, he'll place himself squarely in the mix for the award.

Diggs has a chance since the 7 ints in 7 games is on NFL record pace. It would be tough but 14 int in a season by Dick Night train Lane is the record. More modern times record set by Lester Hayes at 13

truly in realty having say 10 picks would lock it up that a lot not for record but for PB ALL pro type season he would get the DPOTY with 10 ints..a few were pick 6s already, correct? i mean he really just needs about 3 more..

I would think 10 on the season would give him a legit shot, 11 would break Cowboys team record set by Everson Walls

I have been preaching this for a few weeks now. This is a new scheme with a lot of new pieces. So as they grow and get more acclimated with the scheme and each other, it’s only going to get better. And I actually believe much better!
