I have been preaching this for a few weeks now. This is a new scheme with a lot of new pieces. So as they grow and get more acclimated with the scheme and each other, it’s only going to get better. And I actually believe much better!

Fully agree and this unit is playing with confidence which shows me they are buying into Quinn schemes.

Made this point in the game thread...among other things, he single-handedly eliminated those RB/FB swing passes which is a major staple of Minny's offense. Great performance

You almost have to fool Micah so bad that he's on the opposite side of the field. if he's anywhere near the middle of field, he's going to erase the play. Hs speed and acceleration is crazy, and no OL can block him in the open field or perimeter.

He is an incredible player. One of the most advanced rookies I can ever remember. An amazing combination of athleticism, intelligence, and work ethic.

And this is coming from a dummy who questioned the draft pick.

Watching Parson and this defense in general continue to grow and develop is pretty exciting. I will continue to say this defense has only scratched the surface and I do think this defense will be playing at a much higher level as we move into the stretch run of this season.

I’m optimistic for that as well. That Minnesota game was a huge step forward in my mind. We needed them to step up in Dak’s absence and they sure did!

Feels like '92. Dumb kids didn't know any better and just kept making plays. Not the Garrett/wolf hunter mentality. Every play is your play.

funny thing is Parson opted out of last season so you would think he would have gotten off to a slow start not having played football at any level for a year. Not the case. Kid is physically gifted and mentally strong.

I agree. I know some may point to Cook with I think is was 4.3 a carry but outside of 1 very good run on his part the defense was stopping them for minimum gains when they tried to run the ball. (What I call minimum is 3 yards or less) If DL can continue to slow down running backs it allows this defense to use their greatest asset and that is defensive speed.

The DUMBEST thing ever is kids were somehow getting docked in the draft process for not playing last season. Paralysis by over-analysis strikes again...

It makes the scouting job hard. Scouts need to see these kids play and how they can stack seasons, such as a sophomore has a great season but does he build off that in his Junior season or his Senior season? some guys don't. Sometimes a player will regress for whatever reason and that spooks scouts. When you have a kid that did not play a single down in his Junior season you leave some margin of doubt. Clearly there was not enough doubt that would drop him out of the 1st rd but enough to prevent him from being a top 5 pick

It is man….he has elite speed and he’s a smart football player. And we got him and Diggs for cheap for 4 years.
