Should we sign OBJ?

Barring any changes to his current contract, Beckham is owed 9.25M for the rest of the season, with salaries of 15M in both 2022 and 2023. Only 8 teams as we currently sit can afford to absorb his current 2021 salary, and the Cowboys aren't one of them.

Not only that, there's literally no need to add him. WR is the last of the Cowboy roster issues at this point.

Why? We're almost 1 wr too heavy? Also, I don't think he'll be good as far as cohesion

Why would anyone think we need to sign a player at a position where we have more quality depth than we have had at ANY position in at least 2 decades. You could actually argue this is the deepest unit in the history of the franchise and make a good argument.

This position group is literally far and away the best unit on a potentially great team.

Wilson is better than OBJ right now. Dude lost his speed with injuries and age. This is a non issue.

I agree with you that adding another WR is completely unnecessary and adding a dude like OBJ is foolish. Just wanted to point out that the Browns are apparently taking on the bulk of this year’s money and his cap charge is said to be near league minimum for remainder of this season.

Some of you folks get mesmerized by names. Dallas doesn't need him, and he hasn't had a big season in 5 years.

Seems like yesterday that I was watched MNF when him and Dez were goin at it. He had that crazy one hand catch. That was almost a decade ago. Man the time flys. That 2014 season is aging like fine wine. So enjoyable. Wish the outcome was different but it’s easier on the soul to swallow than 2007.

Glad we don't have any such toxic players in the locker room . OBJ seems to be worst than TO at this stage. He burned the Giants and they got rid of him , and now he did the same to the browns. The guy is just not special as a receiver and fails to understand that.

Well actually......according to a Browns Insider the Browns players to a man loved OBJ. I think its more of a QB stupid issue in Cleveland.
So everyone except the most important player to a receiver? He's being released for a reason and not because he's a choir boy.

There is lots of problems with the Browns. OBJ, Mayfield are part of the problematic package.
