The hated WFT at least did us a favor by beating the bucaneers today, 29-19. The defending champs are now 6-3, have lost 2 in a row and are now behind us in record and have a 4-3 conference record compared to our 5-1.

The pack and rams lost last week which was a huge plus.

There’s a ton of football yet to be played and lots can happen but we made a step forward today toward that coveted #1 NFC seed and playoff bye. And we have Arizona ahead on the schedule. Got to take em one at a time, but the big picture got better today.

This is correct. While you usually want your division opponents to lose, the Cowboys have higher aspirations this year than just winning the division so they need teams in front of or tied with them in the conference to lose, especially if those teams beat the Cowboys.

Not to mention WFT was behind the Giants and Eagles in the win column so they had a win to gain without impacting the Cowboys lead in the division.

I wonder what's going on in the Bucs forum now? According to what happens here after one loss, they're forming a lynch mob right now.
They shouldn’t be that worried. They were 7-5 after 12 games last year and didn’t even win their division. They just got really hot at the right time. Plus there’s half a season to go.

Arizona is losing and who knows when Murray will return. Cowboys have good shot at 1 seed
I think GB has a lock on it honestly. They have Rodgers, and a top level defense. I can't wait to see the Boys go to that wasteland and beat them in the NFCCG.

Don't forget, Greenbay is the darling of the refs and league office. Yes Dez, it was a catch!!
It's impossible to pressure Rodgers because their linemen are allowed to blatantly hold. It's not a whine against us, they do it every game. Watch the Seahawks game going on right now.

Looks like WFT chase young left the game with possible acl injury.
He’s lost for the year according to what I saw on Twitter.

GB has been called for holding and PI already in the first half, lol.

To be fair, they won the Super Bowl last year. That gives you a little more leeway than we allow our team after 27 years of waiting.
While I completely agree when it comes to "normal" or level-headed fans ...

I have absolutely no doubt that there is a group of fans that would make those type of threads in 2022, even if Dak and the Cowboys were to win the Super Bowl this year.

I just wonder if this a "Cowboys fan thing" or NFL wide.
