Haha it sucks for some of us younger fans because you guys talk about Landry and Jimmy….I was in kindergarten when the Cowboys won in the 90’s….you know what my heyday is? It’s the damn Dexter Coakley and Dat Nguyen years. I have nightmares of Clint Stoerner suiting for us again. I remember the days so well……

Same bro... *shudders*

He should recuse himself, it's a clear conflict of interest.

Man I think I can sit here and name all of our quarterbacks from that era.....Anthony Wright, Quincy Carter, Hutchinson, Clint Stoerner, Drew Henson, Vinny T, Bledsoe...I feel like i'm missing someone...I don't even know how we won 5 games looking back.....who was our best player at that time maybe La Roi Glover? Coakley? I guess Woody was around and Roy was good around that time maybe him?

I'm not gonna lie though the Joey Galloway, Rocket Ismail and Antonio Bryant core.....that was fun for as short as it lasted lol.

Don't forget the one half of excellence from the Great...RYAN LEAF lol, i think it was 31-3 at halftime when he got pulled, right after he threw the pick 6 to end the half?? Oh man, thank the Good Lord we found a franchise QB.

I think our best player was Big La'Roi for sure. Dude was a straight beast and I used to always feel bad for him lol he was one of the best DT's in the entire NFL for 4-5 years and was stuck on those hellish Campo-led squads. If there was one guy I wish we could have from back then on this current squad, it would undoubtedly be La'Roi Glover. Guy was a menace and was STRONG as hell, esp for his size.

And i do agree that we had a couple nice WR trio's back then lol Galloway, Rocket, and AB, and then Galloway, AB, and T-Glenn. Then TO came in and changed the entire story. Ahhh, good times my friend, good times. Through suffering we build strength though, amiright??

u left out the OL , which I remember RB's being tackled as they got the handoff, and qb's being sacked before they could even finish dropping back!
To me that was the biggest issue with the campo teams, and what hurt them more than the qb's.
Parcells fixed that with more emphasis on protection and blocking in his first year.
But those teams back then had in general crappy OL compared to what we have had since 2014

Never thought Campo was given much of a chance to succeed. Look at the mess Jerry gave him with our salary cap. I think winning 5 games with those teams each year should qualify him for the HOF right next to Vince Lombardi.
yeah he didnt have anything to work with , and almost no talent on offense.
and he was a def coach, so he needed a good OC to run that part, and I dont know who he had.

Campo was not a bad coach he literally suffered through our GM's worst years..again you think he has done some crzy sht lately check out his moves back then. He had no checks and balance back then either..Campo could show up to work and find out JWB made a trade that night.

The forgettable Sweet Tony Banks

Technically Tony Banks never was a Cowboy.. He was signed in the offseason and slated to start but Jerry got enamored with Carter and cut him so he could force Q-Car into the lineup. Huge mistake because Carter was nowhere near stable enough to handle being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.. His internal demons ate him alive as he tried to cope with the weight of that responsibility. He might have had a chance to develop into a decent QB if he had been able to do what Romo did.. sit and learn for 2-3 years before being asked to run an NFL offense.

Oh man, that's gotta suck! I give you credit for sticking with them, even having never experienced a great year.
