Where does Dak rank among all time Cowboy great QBs?

Can we also clear something up? There's always going to be those group of fans who will always prefer the new over the old? Dak could win 5 rings but people will always say Roger and Aikman were better.

5th...has a shot at 4th and maybe 3rd but I don't think he ever unseats Rodger or troy

You don't know that for sure...that is speculation on your part. If Dak wins 5 rings I'll shout it from the mountain top! Hell, give us just one to start!

I'm 61.. watched pretty much every snap of Roger's and Aikman's careers.. If Dak wins multiple rings I will not hesitate to elevate him above them both. Roger was one of my childhood heroes.. but fair is fair.. Both Roger and Aikman played on Hall of Fame laden teams. Both had the best defense in the league multiple years.. Dak hasn't even had a top 5 defense on his side.. If he wins rings under those circumstances it's a higher mountain to climb than those two plain and simple. But he has got to win at least one.. Otherwise #3 is his ceiling.

Well, from the looks of things, Dak just might win one this year and not because of the offense because they are kicking butt, but because of the defense is helping out. They say defense wins championships.

I don't know that I would go so far as to say Morton "beat out" Roger.. Roger wasn't even on the roster until 1969 while Morton had been there since '65. Landry logically gave deference to the guy who had been around playing football for 4 years over the guy who had been flying helicopters (or was it jets?) in the jungle for 4 years.. Roger had a lot of catching up to do and it took him a season and a half to do so.

lololol point taken.....

Way too early, but I do think he could lead us to a Superbowl appearance at least. At least I hope so.

Roger Staubach
Troy Aikman
Tony Romo
Danny White
Jason Garrett (lul)
Cooper Rush (lul)

Is it too early to have this conversation? Did Fanbuzz nail it? I, personally, see Dak finishing his career on the upper half of said list.

Most will know why I included Garrett and Rush on the list... Purely for laughs but there was another reason too.
Yes, it’s too early. There’s still time for him to elevate himself further.

But any list without Meredith , our first ROH inductee QB, isn’t a worthy list.

Well, he can only do his part, the team has to help also, and so far, looking good.

As someone who has not had to watch the Cowboys lose in the Super Bowl since I was in high school and college I do worry about how devastated I would be if they ever do get to the Dance and lose.. I mean I used to go into depression for two months when the Cowboys lost in the playoffs back then.. I fear what it would do to the old ticker if they last one now.. Especially if it was a heartbreaker where some 3rd string tight end drops a TD pass at a key moment in the game.. Aw man I just made myself depressed again just remembering that.

I saw the three they lost and now you have me depressed, again. lol. I made a lot of money on the 90's teams cause nobody thought that they would be so good year after year...plus they hated the Cowboys.
