Want that lucrative contract extension, Michael? This is the game where you prove your worth. If
Gallup goes for 150 and 2 TDs, do you think there's a chance Dallas re-signs him over Cedrick Wilson? Go Cowboys.
...on the contrary this is Wilsons game. 2TD' $137 and big punt return. ;)..

over wilson? If Gallup has 8 catches for 150 and 2 tds, he will likely be getting re-signed and cooper released or at least restructured. Id LOVE to be able to keep Gallup along with Cooper and CeeDee.

Cooper is such a great guy to have on the team. Not only as a player, but he is a good teammate that doesnt sit and wine. You think hes jealous of CeeDee getting his TDs last week? Nope, Coop is awesome and I pray we can keep them all. Sadly, its unlikely though.

And I don’t know why people keep bringing up how many yards of receivers need to get. It’s a boat how many third-down conversions. It’s about being in the right place when they’re needed. Every one of our receivers has a unique talent. Cowboys by 10

because how many yards a WR gets is a clear indication of how effective they are. It is unlikely a receiver goes for 8 catches for 22 yards and 6 first downs.

I don’t think it’s career defining, he will get paid either way next offseason. If he plays well in these two games without Amari and finishes the season strong maybe the Cowboys sign him long term.

No, at this point I believe the die is cast. They are already paying Amari top dollar and I hope they intend to pay CeeDee top dollar when the bill comes due. One thing that would make that cost-prohibitive would be extending Michael Gallup. Sorry but we just can't afford to keep everyone. The consolation prize is re-signing Ced Wilson who contributes even more to this team.

A great game by Gallup will pretty much increase his price and make it even more likely he won't be back. At this point, I say get used to it, he is not coming back so just hope for the best this season and wish he ends his Cowboys career as a winner! :starspin:

Wilson is not better than Gallup, nor is he more productive. Let's not be making stories up.

Unless they get all that yardage in garbage time because they're being blown out. Context.

As for this thread, throw to who's open. If you have to throw at all. If Zeke and Pollard can get you down the field, do that. No need for flashiness, just move the chains.

Nfl teams can win without a receiver. It’s proven that strong qb play and defense wins

and it’s not like this WR Corp isn’t loaded. This is the best group in football

No
There is no chance we keep him and cooper
None
And one game doesn’t define anything

Not really. He has been in the league 3 years already and proved it. If you like Gallup then you should hope he doesnt do well so we have a chance of resigning him. He makes Wilson look like a chump.
