I can see going timeout there but I've seen this team and most quarterbacks go for the touchdown to keep the defense on edge. They were having success. Calling a timeout benefits the defense there just as much as the offense if not more. We'd be calling for McCarthy's head if he called a timeout there and it resulted in a turnover. That's equivalent to icing a kicker.

I was actually hoping they'd play hurry up offense for most of the game, just to keep the defense off balance.

Eli Manning has 2 rings and I have it on good authority that he wasn't the best player on those teams. No where close actually.

I agree. I mean clearly the offensive gameplan they wasn't working.....yeah I don't get the criticism of "clock management" there. Dak threw a bad ball and made a bad decision not on McCarthy.

I'm not miserable at all. I was miserable when I believed Dak was a QB that could get it done, but I already told you, my eyes were opened in 2019.

I expect these performances from Dak now while you and your buds get your hopes up every week thinking he's going to cross that threshold into elite territory. That's what I would call miserable. Expecting someone to be great when they just aren't can be tiring. Been there, done that.
