Trade future picks push money back to 23 or later. Let’s make a run

My thoughts on this are as follows.

We have some assets we can move to make these trades happen
I doubt we get a deal done with the Jets. But I would try.
Micheal Brockers or Grady Jarrett and restructure there deals might be the way to go.
I would definitely bring in a vet CB. Maybe Horn or Fuller.
I also believe that if you could snag a LB that would be ideal as insurance.

I don't know if some of you guys realize how dire our cap situation is next year. We can possibly move some money around and potentially bring back Gregory, Shultz and a few others, but fitting in Quinnen Williams prorated salary for this year won't be easy...fitting in his $10 million for next year when he ate up all the cap space we were rolling over will be near impossible

They'll def need to restructure Dak's deal in the offseason to save cap space like they always do with a vet or two. They're not going to have a ton of money to spend though without creating holes by cutting starters (Amari/Tank - don't think they should do that for the record).

Hopefully they can re-sign Randy, Kearse, and Schultz, keep the Zeke/Tyron/Collins/Tank contracts "as is" for future flexibility, and restructure a couple long term roster players to create a little room. Travis Jones from UConn, Mathis from Bama, or the big dude from GA if he falls to us would be interesting options at NT (Devin Loyd would be great too, but can't see them taking back to back LBs).

Quinnen Williams was never actually available, and he wont be. You dont trade 23 year DT's capable of double digit sacks.

You guys need to stop bringing his name up. Its fantasy

Maybe not that much, but considering contract control and the fact they never actually shopped him, you probably would have to give up two
Doubt if two late 1sts would swing it, dude. I think it would take 3, especially since he's not on the block that I'm aware of.

Hard to gauge the market, but Bucker went for a 1st coming off two seasons where combined for 19.5 sacks. That was in his option year, where they were basically trading for exclusive rights to pay him alot money. But Buckner was more accomplished than Williams (even though I think they are closer than stats suggest) I think given the extra year of contract control, Williams is probably worth 2 firsts.

I dont think anyone is going to trade 3 for any non QB

Oh, that's what it is. We're looking at this from the opposite side!!!!

I don't think you could get Quinnen for two late firsts. That's what I'm saying. They don't want to get rid of him that I'm aware of.
