You guys know whose followed my post that I'm one of the biggest Dak Prescott fans on this forum. That being said though. I was always fair in giving Dak his due when he plays well and saying when he doesn't play well. I've posted on anti-Dak forums in favor of Dak. But he's had two horrible games this year-horrible. And don't give me or use the injury card. Colt McCoy is winning as a backup with injured WR's out. Friggin Colt McCoy:facepalm: Dak is a great guy on and off the field. But I want Dak to be great in games when needed. Do you guys know that Dak only has like 6 wins if the running game doesn't go over a 100 yards per game. Dak you making 75 million dollars now. 75 with with 000000 zero's in back of it. Time for you to start playing like a top paid quarterback in big games. I 'm not talking beating up on sorry azzzz teams. I need you to beat up on the Packers, Chiefs, Rams, Arizona, 49ers etc. You talk a great game after a loss but all it is is TALK! I need to see greatness out there. Not Tony Romo 2.0 or lower.

And why I'm at it can I say I hope over rated Kellen Moore gets a higher coaching job outside of the Cowboys. Fans be talking how bad Dak play. Well how bad is Moore's play calling in BIG games? Nearly every coach that's considered a good coach with a good team. Good not great-hands this guy a butt kicking also. I for one hope he gets another gig. Let McCarthy finally do something besides crashing watermelons and giving out cases of Monkey Butt. And it's not just the loss especially on offense to the Chiefs. It's the mode of operation. Not showing up for big games. Key guys get hurt and we can't operate. I'm still as much with the team as ever. But at some point we have to cross the yellow brick road of mediocrity and go on the road of domination. Injuries are not an excuse. Every team has just as many or more. In closing I say to Dak. Show me who you are as a NFL quarterback starting Thursday. No more " as long as I'm here this team won't quit" Well if you winning quitting isn't even in the equation. And I know we only have 3 loses as of today. But if we can't beat the better teams come January. Will it matter?
PEACE.....

Against both the Broncos and Chiefs the O-line was terrible. Any QB under constant pressure isn't going to play well, even Brady. Hell, look at Mahomes against the Bucs in the Super Bowl. His line couldn't block anyone, he was running for his life and played very much not like himself. I'm not saying Dak deserves no blame, but that was a big part I believe. Also, our offense can't seem to function with out Cooper. Going back to right before we traded for him we looked awful out there. Then that trade really seemed to turn things around. We need him back soon. I don't think it'll be by Thanksgiving unfortunately.

Agreed. I think it starts here. The offensive line needs to give the QB more than 1 second to drop back and find a receiver.

Well, maybe it's an age thing, but I stopped being a players fan when I grew older than they were / are. I'm 42 now and just a fan of the Cowboys. I don't buy jerseys anymore but team stuff. I want the team to be successful, whatever is necessary for that.

Makes some things a lot of easier and saves me from getting too involved in all those love / hate threads. I will be fine with Dak, even if we lose against the Raiders. We're stuck with him anyway, so the team has find a way to win against top teams with him.

Might try it some day. :)

If I’m Dallas I’m already beginning to think my way to a Super Bowl won’t be through Dak’s arm if he has to go on the road in a hostile environment.

It’s time to get back to smash mouth football and build everything off of that.

Im not talking being stupid and running it up the middle all game either. We need to get guys motioning and out on the perimeter.. Stretch teams out.. Use bootlegs.. ect..

I think Dak has just about proven he is not capable of going toe to toe with the big boys.

Even the people who disagree with that statement were all whining for Zeke to save us Sunday.

What excuse? Cowboys got out played and lost. People want off the so called bandwagon? fine, leave. No one is forcing anyone to pull for this team. At the 1st sign of trouble you have people running around freaking out. There is 0 excuse for going in and not playing higher level of football, currently 7-3 and in a much better position than most teams.

Even if the Cowboys won against the Chiefs, but let's say lost against the Cardinals then there would still be the same "Dak and the Cowboys can't win big games narrative." This is going to remain the narrative with some fans, even if the Cowboys beat the Cardinals or what could be a resurging Eagles team later in the season.

As far as Thursday goes, Dak could have a great game and some will say that it doesn't matter due to the Raiders being a mess right now and a big deal with only be made if the Cowboys lose on Thursday.

they got punched in the mouth and folded like charmin this team always folds when they play the elite qb until dallas can build a elite defense they are not winning a superbowl with dak prescott as their qb

well that is your opinion, Cowboys got beat plain and simple with enough blame to go around.

some fans are hopeless, they are knee jerk reaction play to play and week to week. We have a simple minded fan base. If they pull for Dallas fine, if not fine but it humorous to see these over reaction any time this team drops a game. Maybe the other teams fan base are the same who knows do not keep up with them but somehow I don't think Bills fans are claiming Josh Allen can't win because they got their butt kicked by the Colts.

Yes the OL didn't play well. Yes the WR core was cut in half with the top 2 WR out for most of the game. Zeke was hobbled. This is the exact kind of game you would hope your "elite" 40 million a year QB would step up and carry the team - the D was doing their part by keeping it close. But no, Dak folded up and played like crap. Yes he has a ton of excuses, people always make them for him. But until he actually steps up and delivers a performance when things are less than perfect, he is what he is - an overpaid mediocre QB in the NFL. Only he can change that.

This is a SB quality team. The question is, is Dak a SB quality QB. Time will tell.

Josh Allen doesn't seem to get as much scrutiny as Dak does, despite being paid more. And their reasonings are that Allen "almost" won the MVP or that he got the Bills to the AFC Championship game. But, with Dak they have a "Super Bowl or bust" attitude and narrative. So even Dak getting the Cowboys to an NFC Championship game, wouldn't give him any leniency from criticism or scrutiny.

It’s a TEAM game. Did he have bad throws. Yes. All QBs have a few during each game. But both games out O-Line blocked nothing. Was pitiful and they didn’t run block either. That’s when coaches need to adjust. Roll him out. Use some hurry up, change something up. Keep rolling out the same plays and they will have the same results.

How many TDs were right in the WR hands and dropped. I saw 2. Daks not taking off and running with the ball when nothings there. He had a 3rd and 2 that he rolled out and had it with his feet easy. But instead throws a deep pass that was bad.

These guys need to be on in big games for sure. And Dak needs as much blame as any player for the loss. He played bad. But that O-Line should not get a pass either. Nor the coaches or Wilson or Brown.

Sure but if the O-line plays like that again..you can use all the analogies you want but he cant change that and wont..if that is how our O-line plays against a "Decent" front we will not beat anyone no matter who the QB is...period. Thats not an excuse its a fact. When your O-line is getting whipped at an NFL history book level..your QB, RB, WR OC, HC all gonna look bad...
