This forum is always tends to hype up the Eagles. But then if the Cowboys sweep them the narrative will still be that Dak and the Cowboys can't beat a good team or win a big game. Or it will be back to saying how the rest of the NFC East is bad. But, I do believe the Cowboys securing the division as soon as possible is important.

Which is exactly what happened when Wentz was injured in 2017.

This forum also had the opinion that the Eagles were going to easily dominate the division for the next 10 years because they had Wentz as their QB. The Eagles have times where they can go on a run, but I think this forum at times overhypes everything about them. Such as trying to make it seem like Howie is always a genius, when he proven to be a GM who can miss out on draft picks or get some things wrong.

They have literally twice as many losses as we do and we beat them head to head decisively.

It’s amazing how much confidence some of our own fans have in the Eagles.

They aren't a great team by any stretch but........

1) They have an easy schedule coming down the stretch. Easier than ours.

2) They are on a small roll while we are scuffling.

3) Frankly, I don't trust McCarthy if this gets to a do or die game up in Philly in January.

Again, it's not that Philly is so good, it's that I've seen the Cowboys in pressure situations start to fold. If they lose to the Raiders on T-giving, pucker up, it's going to be an interesting December.

Your post is within reasonable boundaries considering their easier schedule and how we have a knack to implode this time of the year.
No way we are winning in Philly......
Place a monetary bet and show the receipt.
Block out the whatever you're insecure about.

Not saying I disagree with you, but when peeps come out strong:
I say show the strength.

Bet on Philly.

Dallas already has a head to head win over the Eagles and Philly already has six losses.

I might be using flawed math here but I think four wins over the last seven games guarantees Dallas the NFC East no matter what the Eagles do the rest of the way. At best the Eagles are 11-6. And seeing the Cowboys still have to play WFT twice and have rematches against the Giants and Eagles, it's still advantage Dallas.

Yet if the Cowboys do as they should and beat the Raiders and the Saints, they are 9-3 and can cruise through December. It's too early to panic and we're also assuming the Eagles take advantage of their weak schedule too. There's been a host of upsets this season and they aren't guaranteed anything either.

Historically, the Eagles play their best when everyone leaves them for dead. "Put a fork in them" is their rallying call.

The Eagles have a two game winning streak going into the next two games against the morbid Giants and Jets. Then comes their bye week.

After their bye week comes the last four games of their regular season, all against division rivals.

They end the season against the Dallas Cowboys in Philadelphia....a week after the Cowboys have played the Cardinals.

A loss by the Cowboys to the Raiders or Saints, one loss to the Washington Unnamed, a loss to the Cardinals combined with an Eagles run on the Giants twice, Washington twice and the Jets........does any of this seem unrealistic?

The Eagles has been a team that almost always surges late in the season. It is entirely possible that a 10-6 Eagles team hosts a 10-6 Cowboys team in a game #17 to determine the division champion.

We all know the typical outcome of such a game.

The Cowboys must avoid this scenario at all costs by creating their own end of season surge.
History means nothing in football. If it did we have owned every single team in our division historically, and we have 5 rings - they don’t.

We know it can happen because it has happened before.....more than once.

The Cowboys had a huge lead halfway through the season but could not raise the intensity, couldn't take their game up another level in December but the Eagles could and did.

Football is full of parody - it’s one of the most unsafe things to bet on. There are very few trends! What are you talking about?
