Losses really bring out the ignorance in fans

I don't think it even takes a loss.

When most post in there, the ignorance flows.

And you call this football analysis? Did you forget about the 16 points we managed against the Broncos or 20 we put on the Vikings? This offense is struggling and blowing out Atlanta doesn't change that trend. And oh yeah, CD played most of the first half and did nothing.

The fact is that this team doesn't look super bowl bound and its QB play the last month is a big reason why. Dak unloads on the bad teams and struggles against the good teams. Thats the book on him. Sorry if it doesn't jive with your worship of the dude.
Thank you for being yet another example of the thread title being so true.

So you are saying we win out? Bold prediction.

3 losses at this point. Two embarrassing azz whuppins. concerning..

I don't just want to make the playoffs... I want to be adept and competent and beat good teams.

We shouldn't fold just yet....but better get our ship together.
Where did I make this bold prediction that you speak of?

The point I am making is that some act like all is loss. But before the season begin posters on here were predicting an 12-5 season at best.

I want us to be playing our best ball in the playoffs not in the middle of the season. Two bad losses like the ones we've had can help pull this team together. Let's just hope they respond and play like we want them to play. But all is not loss. Not yet.

Ya me too. anyone that thought we were going to win sunday was probably fooling themselves. The only thing i am concerned with was how we lost. I figured wed lose just not with the offense being the problem. id figured KC would shred our defense. I also understand that missing Cooper, CeeDee, Tyron is a huge issue. Now maybe Mike recognizes the problems on this team and is being over cautious. Dak looked like Dog manure early on but his problems were magnified by Noah Brown, Cedrick Wilson, and Gallup all who had huge drops. Dak passes when complete were off the mark at times as well. The Oline is no where near what it was. Anyone who thinks that tyrons return is going to fix it is quite optomistic IMO. Will he improve it yes but its not a fix.

Im honestly not too worried about the offense they will be fine I think. I dont believe that the defense can hold up. Micah parsons is going to run out out juice at some point and hes the straw that stirs the drink. We just need to get healthy. All of the pessimist's out here on this site can have their week. They will soon sink back into their the cave and we wont hear from them until we lose again.
I hear you star. We're still kind of in regime transition change and we've once again got the injury bug.

But ultimately we still didn't play welll even offense. We still don't have a signature win....or strong streak.
We hoping it all suddenly comes together in a couple weeks? Then what? Can we beat good teams?
Like I said...not laying my cards...or stop cheering our team. But it does feel like we're eyeballing same old same old.

Let's go beat those raiders!

The people that have lost hope.think we will have more than three losses.....so ithought your 3 loss comment was intentionally dishonest. You are making fun of them bases on three losses now. They think it
Could be 5 or 6....unless we win out....

I agree all is not lost...yet. but we've been here before, have we not?

I expect two more losses before the end of the regular season. But, even with all of our losses, that doesn't mean we can't get on a hot streak and start playing our best football in the playoffs.

Every year is a new year, with new possibilities. All we can do is wish for the best (Superbowl) while preparing ourselves for the worse (one and done). Time will tell whether we are contenders or pretenders.

Tampa Bay Bucs 7-3
Dallas Cowboys 7-3
Los Angeles Rams 7-3

But some Cowboys fans want to burn jerseys. o_O

It is not the loss as much as how they lost. The KC game plan appeared to be like the Denver game plan with the same success. That is reason to be a little concerned. The way the OL was manhandled and the way Dak responded was hard to watch and again, reminiscent of the Denver game. After the way they lost 2 of 3 games it is understandable that some fans are not sure who the Dallas Cowboys are at the moment.

I know they say the more you love something the harder it is to see it clearly. This is 10000% true for a lot of the posters on this board.

The second the cowboys lose a game it’s: “Packers, bills, Rams etc etc contending team would never lose like this blah blah” (even when those said teams lose that same day too lol)

“elite qbs would never play like this blah blah” (even tho every elite qb has had multiple stinkers this year lol)

it’s like peoples brains and football analysis abilities revert to the level of a 5 year old when their team loses cuz of course we know every team has to go undefeated to win the Super Bowl. Yep every SB winner including the Bucs last year all had 16-0 records go look it up.

Anyway it’s one bad game where our backup wrs couldn’t get open on the chiefs corners (because ceedee and Amari both were gone). Hey crap happens, it’s 1 loss that’s not the end of the world and I’m onto Raiders on turkey day. Go cowboys!!!:star:
Ok, but you would be the expert fan that has all the answers? ****!

Being a sports fan is an emotional undertaking.

You're right, and the key words are "at the moment". The issues the Cowboys have are fixable. Cooper and Lamb will be back. The protection issues can be remedied. Dak was off at the Chiefs but relentless pressure; especially up the middle, can make even the best QB's look below average. It didn't help that there were some bad drops and penalties too.

We know Dallas has the personnel to go far this year. There's seven games to go so there's a ton of time to fix this. Football is a game of adjustments so now we see if they can make them.

It's easy to forget the Cowboys are a game and a half behind the best record in football right now.

I'm with....the season is way to short to not enjoy it. That's why we're called fans. We are part of the team....and we don't give up in the middle let alone the end. Enjoy each and ever moment.

I apologize that I lasers in on the one thing. I certain people think we're not a playoff team....but not because of 3 losses.

Ok, but you would be the expert fan that has all the answers? ****!

Nope. I also dont let emotions run me into making idiotic doomsday posts that aren't true just because im upset my team lost.

Even wins can bring out the ignorance in fans. There were posts on this board with a few fans thinking the Cowboys could finish 16-1. There was one fan boasting that this team was better than any of the Cowboys 90s championship teams. Many fans tend to go way overboard when the team is winning. If you don’t believe me go back and look at some of the threads before the Denver loss. Everyone from the coaches to the players were getting praise during the winning streak. Now everybody sucks. Lol

Don’t compare that loss to the Chiefs loss.

We played good against the Bucs and Dak was great.

Dak looked like his throw back go as the team goes self last Sunday. He was part of the problem in a huge game.

Makes sense. Backup wrs getting clamped up by the chiefs corners, and oline getting beat down to death. Was a perfect storm of garbage

And all those teams suck and will lose in the playoffs (if they make it). Brady gives the Bucs an extra push but idk if they go all the way with the likes of the Cardinals and Packers going in

The flip side is homers tend to look at losses and always think it’s just a blip, often ignoring underlying issues.

My issue is the hypocrisy. For example:

Packers lose to Vikings (who we beat with backup qb): Ohhh its okay Rodgers will bounce back, they still are contender blah blah blah

Bucs lose to sorry team like Washington: Ohhh its okay the bucs will bounce back, they still will win the championship blah blah blah

Cowboys missing 7 starters lose to Chiefs: Ohhh its the same old cowboys, they arent contender, Dak cant sniff Brady & Rodgers jock strap...

How does it make a modicum of sense that every other contender can lose a game and its no problem, and when we lose its doomsday? And I dont wanna hear crap about well because they have won rings before, cause that has absolutely nothing to do with this years performances.

I disagree. I think success deluded our fan base this season. Everyone was predicting a championship at 6-1 and many were at 7-2. The reality is, we aren’t a championship level team and the losses have brought people back to reality.

I honestly think a 2nd round playoff exit would be a decent season for this team. I picked them to go 7-10 preseason.

You dont know if this team caps out at 2nd round or not. You cannot say we arent a championship level team. The REIGNING champs got smashed in their division by the Saints, crawled into the playoffs with a 10-6 record and the proceeded to destroy everyone. So dont give me that crap about "reality is we arent a champ level team". Maybe thats your reality but it sure as hell isnt mine
