I don’t get the hate for Jason. He was homegrown, he was all in and he was a Cowboy. Did he win as much as we wanted, no but his teams always played hard for the guy. I’m thinking Jason will be quite fine at the end of the day.

I don't hate him as a person. I hated him as a coach because he refused to make adjustments. He stubbornly stuck to an outdated system that required too many stars to be successful and were always shown up when making it to the playoffs.

His culture didn't work. His method of not accepting blame as a coach and throwing players under the bus, correct or not, was (in my opinion) telling. Compare that to Bellicheat. When the team failed to win, be it coaching or players, he took the blame and said he needed to do a better job.

That's all you need to know for why Garrett isn't welcome here and was fired by the Giants.

It was a monumental mistake that will set the franchise back years.

Garrett gave them direction. Now they are a rudderless ship.

They're lost right now. Probably can't even find the practice field.

the gm has set this team back years..theres zero talent at qb and the Ol is suspect and SB was a bad pick..nothing to do with Garett AT ALL..it was trash when he and judge got there and its still trash

that ownership and GM issues..

say what you will about jerry and his GM by committee , its far better and not close to what NY is doing..either ny team that share that cursed stadium lol

Because the NFL is the good ole boys league and they are a lot of friends and family.

They aren’t big into letting other coaches come into their league. They love to recycle and keep the gig going.

Heck thats why McCarthy is here. Classic good ole boy hire.
McCarthy won a SB. Please get past your bias.

Many can’t see through how plastic the guy is. He reminds me of the characters in American Psycho.

“There is an idea of a Jason Garret, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there”

ITS NOT THE COACHING ITS THE PLAYERS

Issues in order

Its the GM.
Its the Owner
Its the players

GM is the one who drafted all that 'talent' on offense. But Garrett's fault or not, their offense does stink and someone has to be held accountable. Probably not that hard for Judge since Garrett was one of the few owner hires, and was never his boy.

Keep saying it.... Garrett just needs to give up coaching and go work for the owners. He always finds himself sipping wine with those folks. If I'm an owner and want a football guy to be my go-between with the coaches, Garrett is my boy.

He's the guy on the left

Or the guy on the right LOL

His era as HC in Dallas was an utter failure that went on way too long. That's why.
I am sure no one hates the guy personally, they just hated him as HC here.

Check out Dez Bryant's Twitter account to see what he had to say about the Giants firing JG. Apparently, time does not heal all wounds.

wasn't an utter failure that an overreaction and emotional response he had more wins then loses and playoff appearances..

we had far worse coaching tenures then him..

Pretty high marks on Kellen Moore from Dez.
