I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but something has to be done about the officiating man! This is a travesty. We didn’t play a solid game by no stretch of the imagination, but for them to decide a game that’s gone into OT just stinks of conspiracy man. This is not right. This doesn’t happen if it’s GB, TB, TB, LA, PITTSBURGH, NE. That call isn’t going to be made in OT. to decide the outcome. I’m sorry, it’s just not. On to N.O.

San Diego was robbed against us.

Cowboys are as bad as the Giants going and hiring a bad head coach and thinking he will become good as a coordinator... Defense is terrible so we have to score 35+ a game to realistically have a chance to win games.
They held the Chiefs to 19 last week. Just saying

28 penalties for 276 yards in the game.

Is there something wrong with NFL officiating, or do the players & coaches just not know the rules?

Personally, I think that outcomes are predetermined for the most part. Businesses of this magnitude relying upon entertainment dollars do not generally leave outcomes to chance if they have anything at all to say about it. And the League certainly does.

He can't turn his head around when the wrs holding his head to his chest...good play on wr. Brown played really bad game.. refs seemed to have it predetermined what drives would go further then others.

He played a bad game but the PI call bails out bad passes more often than not it seems. A well placed ball there is caught regardless.

if the refs were willing to call a weak PI on 3rd and 18 which was essentially a give up play by Carr, the destiny of the Cowboys were not in their hands.

That was a clear PI. You can’t make contact, while not playing the ball, period. Brown knew he was beat.

I'm more disappointed in myself.
Despite the evidence of 25 years, I made myself believe that the 6-1 start was a new beginning for the Cowboys.
We're going to keep building on our wins and get home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
But just like a failed lunar mission, my hopes came crashing back to earth.
I just can't do it any more. Even if they hit a four-game winning streak (which I doubt), I'm remaining chill until they have playoff success - if they get there.
And, sorry, but I'm disappointed in Dak.
I think he's still a good quarterback, but he simply can't carry a team.
You've got to make those throws in OT. It had nothing to do with backup receivers.
You've got to throw the ball on time.
Sadly, I can't wait to hear Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A.
They can slap me back to reality.

It's hard not to get cynical with this team.
So many disappointments through the years

We are going to get 4 top shelf players back very soon. And the rest of the games are against all middle of the road or bad teams except for AZ.
We'll win the division. How we do in the playoffs remains to be seen.

Don’t worry. We will get the saints at full strength next week

I've come to the realization that regardless if this Dallas team is #1 seed or just a wildcard, their chances in the playoffs will be the same. If they are hot at the time, they will beat some teams, if they are not, they will lose in the first round. The key will be how they play at that time with all their missing players healthy. Who cares whether at home or on the road...there is no home field advantage.

That's kinda the point. You're beat already, so a good pass can't be stopped. Turn around and hope for the bad throw. It's your only hope. That's coaching unless it's been coached and her simply can't learn. In which case he needs to be replaced.

I'm glad I've got my other interests because this is becoming less and less fun for me. I'm just really hurting RN with this loss. I'm sorry. Normally I try to stay upbeat, but it's incredibly painful and hard to do now.

I hear you.

But, at least as far as the regular season goes, there's several things to remember.

1. Even with the loss, and a win by the Eagles (if they do) Cowboys will still have a 2 game lead. They don't have to win every game, every loss by the Eagles or Washington makes it that much harder for them to catch Dallas. Neither of those two teams are likely to win out. Cowboys just have to match their wins or at worst win the tie breaker or maybe even just win one less.
Win the division and you at least get one home game, not lately a big advantage, especially for Dallas, but come playoffs, after a 17 game season, it's a benefit to not have to travel to a win or go home game, and sleep in your own bed.
2. Missing Cooper, Lamb, Lawrence and Gregory. All will be back, probably by the next game, or the game after at the worst. They are much better than their backups, the team will be better. McGovern is getting game experience, which he hasn't had a lot of so far. May get better by the end of the year.
3. It's not like the Cowboys are getting blown out every game, this was an overtime loss. The 4 players mentioned above are surely worth 4 points, and probably more. One or two bad calls that don't go against Dallas and some of these could be wins.
4. The problems like in this game are nearly all within the Cowboys' control. Block better, get the defensive alignments straight, pay attention to penalties.

Of course all this doesn't mean the Cowboys are SB bound, as noted this is about the regular season. And Dak will never be a Brees, Rodgers, etc. The missed wide open throw in the last drive is a perfect example, not to say it lost the game, it didn't, but he continues to pull those stunts, and after this many years he'll probably not quit doing so. Can he make the bad throws only when it doesn't matter so much? Could be just possible.

But lesser quarterbacks have won SBs, who's to say Dak can't as well? Russell Wilson only got to the SBs when he had the NUMBER ONE defense. Give Dak a top-5 or even top-10 defense and he's plenty good enough. It's not, and won't be, on Dak to overcome an otherwise mediocre to average team. The Cowboys' defense is mediocre at this point, maybe getting the 4 players noted back will put the team up to contender status, but to be sure it's not there now...

This season started with suck promise and has become a complete train wreck... defense is still terrible and Dak has regressed back to old Dak in 3 of the last 4 games.
Old Dak? He's played very well the majority of his career. The only time he really struggled was the season we traded for Coop and he literally had no receivers to throw to. Dak didn't lose this game. The secondary, poor coaching, and the kicker lost this game.

We've lost to some struggling teams lately. The Giants beat the teams that just beat us. None of our remaining games will be easy.
