Tony.....(29 4th Qtr comebacks, 24 game winning drives).....Romo wasn't a loser.....(including the game winning drive vs Detroit in the playoffs.....) with a worst team.

Yet no Super Bowl in ten seasons with the Cowboys.

Honestly I think the talent is there. No team should have to worry about their coaching being a major liability on GameDay and that's what we've see most of the year.

This team has all the talent it needs when completely healthy on both sides of the ball. I have no doubt about it. Can they get healthy and get they stay healthy.

Dak completed 68% of his passes for 375 yards, 2 TDs, zero turnovers, and did it with no running game while missing our 2 best WRs.

Meanwhile, the defense gave up 500 yards and 36 points...BUT THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OUTCOME! :muttley:

Romo once got blamed for losing 51-48 in a game where he threw 6 TD passes, so nothing surprises me anymore with this fan base. You just don't understand football.
It really is amazing they pin this all of a guy, who yes didn't play like the top guy at his position like he had the first 9 games, but didn't lose the game for us.

It is something to see the complete delusion.

Romo had some pretty amazing teams with him, including some more complete defenses than Dak. Also Romo got to learn under Parcells entering the league, while they both spent time under Garrett. But let's not pretend Romo hasn't given away games. Here's 5 for you.. I think it's natural to compare past and present QBs. I will say Romo had more of a gunslinger mentality, while Dak protects the ball more. Sometimes those check downs are the right calls.

“Romo has given away games”

You posted a video that shows what happens almost every starting QB. For as many of those games hes “given away”, I can name two games that hes won for us that we had no business winning…

Dont ever Compare this dink and dunk fraud of a QB to Romo…

While Romo didnt get it done, he was saddled with worse teams and coaching than Dak. Dak cant even make the simplest of throws in a consistent manner..

Dak is better than Romo.

Wasnt it turds like you that said Romo was dink and dunk?

We just need someone to make some plays and it’s gotten back to where everyone is looking around waiting for someone to make a play including Dak Prescott.

You got that right! QB1 has had some rough games lately.
Zeke needs to be 100% for the stretch and we aren't doing him any favors asking him to play through.
Amari did what Amari had to do for himself. No problem. We'll need him down the stretch too.
Everybody has to come together and make plays for this to work. And everybody is getting that chance now.
We gotta find a way to make it work.

Loved Romo, but he was famous for the ill timed pick. Dak blows him away in that department.

As a leader and in game manager, Dak smokes Romo.

Dallas last year with Garrett as the OFFICIAL play caller, though he kept interfering with Callahan the next year, until Jones officially banned him from play-calling.

Dallas was 31st in rushing attempts, 31st in rushing yards and 27th in rushing TDs. That was the Giants all over again with Garrett as OC.

On no planet whatsoever is Dak on Romo’s level.

Team around Dak=Team around Romo

BOth guys were great QB's that can win you championships but Jones isnt good enough to put the proper talent and coaching around them.

It's the culture here and you can't change that if you have a coach that does not have the full power to command respect from the players. Dak will be wasted here like Romo was. The team won't play consistently like they haven't which is one of the symptoms. One week the Cowboys will blow someone out and the next week they will get embarassed and then they don't win against a team that they should've won against.

That's the million dollar question. It's definitely a good thing that we have major contributors coming back down the stretch. Just have to get those guys back into a groove. I think after next week the only guys we'll be missing are Randy and Gally, maybe Wilson. Just have avoid anymore catastrophic injuries.

So Ware and Witten are losers too? TO? Martin? T Smith?

If the goal of standard for Dak is getting the team to a Super Bowl, then I'm going to point out that Romo didn't get the team to the Super Bowl during this career. And will mention the times were Romo has had bad games or has made costly mistakes or throws in key moments or in important games.

And I supported Romo, but if Dak's mistakes and bad games are pointed out or focused on every time he has a bad game, then it's only fair for Romo's to be mentioned as well. Especially if some choose to have revisionist history and pretend like the team never had a string of losses close together while Romo was the QB or when they want to insist that Romo always made the perfect throws or never missed throws.

Im not there with you on that one. Zeke is still the ONLY thing that seems Jerry infested at this point. MM has command of this team.

Its the injuries not the team or coaching. Im actually shocked that so many of you dont take that into account. Are you aware of them or you just dont pay attention?

Are you about to tell me that all teams have injuries? The common layman response.

How many has QB1 got in 6 seasons?
So your point is moot until your guy gets one.

Why couldn't Romo elevate the rosters that he had to a Super Bowl? Isn't that what Dak critics say defines an elite QB? To be able to elevate players around him and not need the so called "perfect team" or "all pro bowl players" in order to accomplish and achieve certain QB feats and goals in the NFL?

Romo still with only 2 playoff wins in his whole career and those who claim excuses are made for Dak, will come to Romo's defense to explain why he wasn't able to win a SB and why not being able to win one isn't his fault.

Wilson now just went on IR our starting SS. Dont forget these guys have to get the kinks out.
