Sometimes calls are missed. This is known by every athlete who has ever played a game.
How convenient!

Tell me, Mr. Athlete, how many times have you seen an officiating crew huddle up to change their CORRECT “call on the field”...... to the INCORRECT call?

Uh-huh. Care to name one of those “few times”?

Let me guess: you can’t think of a specific example, right?

Even though you KNOW you’ve seen it multiple times?

Yeah, this was a terribly officiated game (just like the NE game in my opinion), but the real issue is the running game.

We came into this game with every intention of running the football. It appeared that the plan was to run Pollard early, then bring in Zeke to finish them off. Unfortunately, either we again refused to stay with the run, or the worst running defense in the league wouldn’t allow it. Either way, this is, and remains, the real issue with this team. Until we get this fixed, we are not going to do well in the playoffs (if we even make it).

For my money, (as I posted over a month ago) I still think we need Lael at LG and McGovern at C. I am not sure that McGovern can even snap, but Tyler isn’t getting it done. I think this lineup would allow us to run right at teams and wear them down. Whatever they decide to do, we have to get this fixed.
I totally agree with revamping the Oline, but here is my lineup:

LT Tyron Smith
LG La'el Collins
C Tyler Biadasz (or Matt Farniok as replacement)
RG Zack Martin
RT Terence Steele

Constantly changing the oline isn’t helping
We rotated linemen today
Didn’t do anything to help at all
An oline needs continuity and we’ve had very few games with the same line in back to back weeks
Just put in the other guy is not a plan for success
They didn't rotate linemen like I have been suggesting for weeks...if not months. Do as I say, I guarantee this Oline will improve.

Free advice for Jerry IF he wants to listen.

I agree I just think we need our best 5, then let them jell. I think Lael is one of those 5. He is a powerhouse who can move people off the ball. Right now, it appears that would be better at LG.

I think Tyler isn’t strong enough. Maybe he will be next year. I do think he can make the line calls though.

Very true, but when you have your starting lineman, QB, and running backs playing, how can you not run the ball effectively. Gallup and Wilson are 2nd string WRs but they were not the problem today.

They can load the box to stop the run because they aren't afraid of our WRs beating their CBs consistently. Having Lamb and Cooper will move a player farther out from the LOS.

Forget the YPC. The running game was effective on several plays but every time it got going, Moore went pass happy, removing any possibility for the run game to gain any momentum. That's been the trend lately. It's easy to look at the stat line and say that Dallas can't run. The truth of the matter is they refuse to allow it to be effective. Where did the balance go?

Correct, so you counter with a power formation, let them know you’re running, Boys have a power back in Zeke, just set it up with a lead blocker, not with a single back

Zeke has said he doesn't like a lead blocker. It hinders his vision. If you watch Zeke run, he likes to hold back and watch the LOS to pick and choose the hole he wants to hit. It's harder for him to do that, when there is someone in front of him. His running style isn't like ESmith. Zeke runs more like LBell.

Best thing they can do it get Pollard more touches. Zeke looks injured and is playing like he's injured.

Agreed. We have to stick with it even when it appears to be unsuccessful initially.

True, but that's just kind of hiding the defense by trying to eat up the clock.

Zeke may not like it, but the big holes are not there and he is no fast enough to get to the edges, so his best asset is his power and breaking tackles
