Mike McCarthy deserves a lot of blame here too

The 'catch and fumble' early on that we recovered should have been challenged. He clearly caught it. Took 2.99 steps and the ball was knocked out. That was our ball.

Kicking a 59 yard FG with a kicker that misses extra points regularly. Giving them a short field.

Going for two after you made the extra point, taking points off the board.

Lots of bad decisions from the head coach. That seat should be heating up.

He has faith in the team , but also that slow developing 2 point run by Wilson very questionable

to me the missed XPs are most concerning. A definite trend

His on the field is just awful, but I don't think he could of challenge that. Once they chose to say it was incomplete it's out of his hands

This is incorrect. You can challenge an incomplete catch. Same as you would on a sideline or hitting the ground.

Can't challenge a play the refs ruled an incomplete pass.....

Wrong. You can challenge it and I this case there was a clear recovery. No whistle was blown.

Even the announcers told you that it can't be challenged, once the play is ruled an incomplete pass, the play is over, there's nothing to challenge...the refs ruled the play over, incomplete pass, receiver never made a football move therefore, incomplete, play over.... end of story!!

If your argument is that the refs should have let the play continue and then make a decision like they're suppose too, sure but that's not how it was ruled

That's not what they said. They said that they ruled it incomplete. They even talked about Mike challenging it right up to the snap and fit a moment after.

Read the rules. Watch the game again. I did. It was not ruled over.

"If replays show that it was a catch..."

They weren't going to overrule the call because there wasn't a "football move", he never tucked the ball away...therefore incomplete!

The refs got word from NY that it was not a fumble. McCarthy could have challenged, but the refs told them NY already said no fumble, so at that point it was moot.

There was zero chance of that being overruled. All he would have accomplished was wasting a time out. He made the right call.

Agree with you here.

Get the ball at the one to try to make it a 3-point game instead of a 4-point game. This was absolutely the right decision, and it didn't turn out to matter since they made up the point later.

He wins this round, 2-1.

That's not what they said. Of course you can challenge an incomplete pass to get it turned into a catch and fumble with a clear recovery. Dallas chose not to because they didn't think it would be overturned.

i've defended his 4th down decisions...only a few i didnt like.
