Then why have team captain roles? These are grown *** men. It shouldn't take another grown *** man to get players to do their jobs.

You're so defensive lolI really wish you'd go root for the Eagles and see what a "real" QB looks like. Why did you leave that fanbase again?
I was actually hoping the usual cast of Dak supporters would sit this one out as I am not trying to start another internet slap fight. I would like to get what I asked for - someone informed about the cap who can explain when we can realistically get out from under this crippling contract and maybe just maybe have a chance to win something matters.
ridiculous take totally insane..daks not perfect but hes easily a top 10 qb all day everyday..replace him with what? hes actually played like top 5 qb most of the year and had a few bad games..hes franchise guy he may not be elite but hes a ver y good starting qb maybe you should turn the drama knob down.
Stupid? LOL. Have you heard some of your own takes? Skill set? Micah Parsons is a unicorn. I called it in November of last year. All you had to do was watch the Cotton Bowl. You disagreed. And now you're getting defensive because you look like you have no idea what you are talking about. yet again. You guys are too stupid to understand skill set I see.
I could go to a highschool game and find a player with a skill set like CeeDee Lamb and you numpties would be like welll durrr he ain’t no Lamb.
I didn't compare him to anyone. You did.$28M gets you Ryan Tannehill. If you think Tannehill and Dak are even close to the same level of play, then you've just confirmed no one should ever take your opinion seriously on this board again.
I'm sure some people are envious of the money he makes, but some legitimately believe that paying that much means less money to spend under the cap on other necessities, such as OL and secondary. They're right, to a degree. But if you paid 15 million less for a QB, you wouldn't have the quality of Dak Prescott (I know, some doubt his ability, but there's no way you could replace his production and leadership with someone who thinks they're only worth 25 - 30 million.) and whatever player or players you could get for that 15 million wouldn't be nearly enough to overcome the deficit left behind.Every time I see someone post his salary as if that means anything, all I think about is the fact their comments are based on envy.
The idea of this team had that money they would have spent it on other people and won the game. Which ignores the last 25 years of decision making by the Jones'. It also ignores the person making the 40 million dollar comment does not work in this league, therefore he isn't even a layman.
But it comes down to the same gripe made about people who make a lot of money in other careers. The have nots always blame the haves.
And that is about as small minded as someone can be.

Yet not smart enough to understand the ramifications of overpaying.
So is the rest of the team.Dak Prescott is 16-15 in his last 31 starts.
Easy on the name calling there bud. You're so defensive when you get proven to be the worst scout on the board. Go ahead and explain to everyone how Micah Parsons has the same skillset as Jaylon Smith. One is on pace for DROY and DPOY. One is out of the league. Go ahead. Make yourself look worse. Please. Or. Just say. I was wrong on Parsons.Hurts isn’t a 40 million dollar QB numpty.
I mean isn't that their job? If just needed someone to make a perfect catch I Wouldn't need Lamb and Cooper now would I?Go back and see how many times they had to swivel to make the catch. More often than not. You can points to stats, but W is the most important.
Flashes of brilliance along with bad plays. Romo was the same. He had great stats too.I agree, but Dak does sometimes flash some good things.
I think next year is crucial for Dak. If he doesn't improve drastically, we'll have good idea of what he is.
This is his 5th year...I think...so maybe he's a late bloomer?
There you are again. You just cant do it. Cant just say. I was wrong on the PLAYER. I dont care about his position. He could be the RB and he would be a stud because thats who he is. You just cant admit you're wrong. Ever. Its mind blowing. He is exactly what I said he was at linebacker.
I didn’t see the defensive lineman thing coming. Sorry I missed that.
Judging by the quality of your posts I'm going to guess you represent the 'edumacated' fan base, not the educated one .
I think he's shown what he is at this point. He's shown us since 2016. If you didn't think he was good then then your opinion of him probably won't change.I agree, but Dak does sometimes flash some good things.

I'm not a fan of violence or drama, but are you telling me if you had the chance to get out of Dak's contract, and the only thing that had to happen was for the true leader of the team to rough him up a bit, you are saying you would turn that down?Truly one of the dumbest things ever posted on this forum and I've got to tell you, that spans A LOT.

I will just say...
Cason Wentz.
Buh bye.
