There are 43 members of CZ have no clue about football.

That’s the great thing about polls it exposes the clueless fans. Unfortunately on this one we can’t see the members names. Doesn’t matter you can find them all in the merged Dak hate thread and the other threads designed to bash him.

QB is the least of this team’s problems right now. We were a holding penalty away from Dak bringing them back to win yesterday. He has struggled lately for sure. But IMO people asking to start over at QB should look at the 18-20 teams that are in the starting over phase of finding a decent QB. It’s the hardest position to find.

We have reached a point where 375 for 2 TD’s, 8 YPA and 106 passer rating isn’t good enough while throwing to backup receivers.

People have gone insane man.

meanwhile the defense gives up 500 yards and 36 points and people are focused on the QB. Lol

And let’s not forget the 166yds in penalties on top of the 500+ yds our defense gave up.

I am happy they have Dak and I don't believe for a second that he does not help this team. But I cannot explain why he can play 8 games and look like a HoF QB then just nose dive. His accuracy is simply not elite level right now. His decision making has been sub-par too. There was a play yesterday where he tried to force on into Gallup and Schultz was standing in the middle of the field wide open for an easy first down. Its like Dak stopped scanning the field. But we saw this in 2019. Dak lost his accuracy and started missing WRs every week. It culminated with an awful performance against the Eagles for the division. People said he had a bad shoulder, but the following week he lit it up against Washington. It wasn't his shoulder, it was his head.

Every QB misses a throw now and then. They don't see open receivers from time to time. But since Dak came back from his injury he has been inconsistent and it has hurt the team.

I like Dak but paying him $40 million a year was a mistake.

Rewatch the games with a focus on WR separation and you will understand why Dak has to throw into tight coverage so often.

I voted yes but I’m not dumb enough to think we’re going to win championships with him. Is he good enough to luck into a championship if we have a good enough roster? Sure, but highly doubtful.

Teams need historically good defenses or elite QB’s to win a Super Bowl. We have neither.

Serious question, Bob.

If you replaced the QB on those 18-20 teams with Dak that you're referring to are they really THAT much better? How many of those 18-20 teams have QBs that would look good with all the weapons Dak has had in his career?

Dak has been very fortunate when it comes to the talent around him where a lot of these QBs are ruined by bad situations. So, although you're right, there are probably 18-20 teams looking for a QB, that doesn't mean those 18-20 QBs wouldn't thrive just like Dak if only they had the luxury to start in the same situation with the immense amount of talent Dak has been surrounded with.

The last average QB to win with an average defense was Joe Flacco.

But it took him having the greatest playoffs run ever for a QB in NFL history.

lmao...your not tricking me into this question. You can take this poll and stick it in the ground with a flag "Dallas Cowboys"...!

Dak is here to do what he is hired to do, so far...

I'm certainly happy Dak as our QB. I think the chemistry was jolted with the key WRs out, and that'd impact a lot o top QBs. There is a gulfing gap in talent between Coop and Lamb compared to Gallup and Noah Brown. Additionally, the blocking wasn't great against KC, and our best pass rushers were out. Most should return against New Orleans, so I think we will see a much better result. Some say that playing us helps get teams on track, but I think playing the Saints who Dak usually does well against may be just what the doctor ordered for this team.

I voted for Dak.

I think Dak can be off sometimes. I think the Cowboy's coaching staff will need to be creative soon, and in the playoffs. Maybe start thinking a little bit outside the box, possibly two QB's on the field for 2 plays a game, one of those plays could just be a simple handoff and something wacky with the other play. Don't leave the 2nd stringer ice cold till the playoffs.

If the Cowboy's make the playoffs and Dak is ice cold short/long/no where near his targets, i would take him out of the game. Playoff games are more than loyalty.

When those playoffs start rule one is to forget about Jerry or Stephen or anyone and coach to win. Forget about job safety at that time.

It’s just not good enough. He looks like the QB he has always been prior to this season and that QB isn’t good enough unless everything around him is optimal.

Even the homers know it but they say it in another way. They just ignore his play and blame everything else.

Dude is off to slow starts, missing open wideouts, and struggling to put points on the board right now.

People are so reactive. I was the biggest dak critic when he replaced Romo, but there is no doubt we are good at qb. Will he win a sb? Who freaking knows, but I'd take dan fours and he never won a sb.
Dan Fouts is a HOFamer. One of the greatest to not even appear in a SB. Awesome Charger offenses but not enough defense.

Some of you have no clue how tough it is to find a damn good QB like Dak.

Chicago-Detroit in the early window should’ve been required viewing for you people who think QBs like Dak grow on trees.

1st round pick Andy Dalton vs #1 overall pick Jared Goff.

Dak biggest bashers and critics say that he is a "trash QB" or is just a "Bus Driver." But at the same time, I see some of them make suggestions and proposals for the team to trade away Dak to another NFL team for a bunch of draft picks, a 1st round draft pick or for an elite or top tier player on that other NFL team. But, why do Dak bashers believe that other NFL teams would give up any of these things to the Cowboys for Dak, if he was as bad or "trash" as they say that he is? That's the part that doesn't make sense to me.

Just like the suggestion that the Cowboys should trade Dak to the Lions for Goff. Well, if Goff is so much better than Dak, then why would the Lions want to give Goff up to the Cowboys for what some insist is a QB who is not as good as Goff? The ones who say that Dak isn't good or is just a bus driver and yet believe the Cowboys could get a lot for him, are the contradictory ones. Because no NFL team is going to give up all of that for a QB they don't think is good or is just a 'Bus driver'

I’m not sure happy is the correct verbiage. I’d ask is he enough to build a contender around.

This isn’t a good time to ask if fans are happy.

Nobody is worth the money but this is the going rate.

Exactly. And to those thinking drafting a QB replacement each World Cup is a recipe for success, QBs o Dak's and Romo's calibers don't grow on trees. In Dak's draft class, he was easily the best QB that year, and he was taken in the 4th round. Just goes to show how hard getting a QB is.
