And why should it have been etched in stone it was an insurmountable lead? Sounds like even our most hardened critics bought into the early hype around our 6-1 start which some of us warned to pump the brakes on.

Situation has changed dramatically since then due mostly to our injuries and the meat of our schedule.

Only those caught up in the hype didn’t see the possibility of us falling back more into the divisional race. Nothing has changed from our pre season predictions that we wouldn’t have been favored to win any other division . And we’re still in good position to do barring another season ending injury to our starting QB.

Since you like spinning facts to support your agenda perhaps you’ll like this. In the 14 seasons the Cowboys have begun the season 6-1 they have never missed the playoffs with 10 division titles and 4 WC’s.

If Dak don’t like it then start using your legs again and move the chains when you HAVE to. Had a 3rd and 2 against the chiefs late in the game and rolled out with plenty of space and instead of taking off he loads up a long pass to a covered receiver.. Not asking for him to run the option again. Not asking for designed runs. Just do it when you have to..

By my standards, you don't have to be a fan of any player on a Team to be a fan of the team itself. Heck, at one point of time TO was the player I hated most in the NFL, and then I hated him for a whole year while he was on the cowboys. Other teams have Quarterbacks that do stupid things too and fans have a right to dislike them or drop their fandom for them.

In Daks defense he didn't go after fans. In his presser he only said he knows there are fans jumping off the bandwagon, he never criticized the fans
