When the team was 6-1 I wasn't really hoping for merely winning a bad division. Finishing 10-7 and NFC East Champions will mean nothing to me.

The NFC East isn’t the threat. There are a lot of teams better than the Cowboys. In the NFC, the Packers have been great since their terrible first game, the Cardinals have been winning despite key injuries, the Rams compete with top teams, and the Bucs are defending champs. In the AFC, the Pats are much improved than when we barely beat them, the Bills look like they can beat anybody some weeks, the Titans looked unstoppable before Henry got hurt, the Ravens win games, and the Chiefs are back. We’d have to upset almost every team in the playoffs to win the Super Bowl.

I say it every week but its Washington Football Team. They will beat Seattle tomorrow.

Its a gut feeling I have been having..

Only way the Skins win the division is by sweeping us, almost no other scenario realistically results in them winning the division.

And honestly, if you get swept by a 4-6 team, you really dont have any business being a playoff team.

Winning the NFCE is the NFL equivalent of a participation trophy. Why are people so enthralled with it? There are possibly 20 teams in the NFL that would win the NFCE in Dallas' place.

It’s totally conceivable that coming off a road win in Houston after trailing at half might boost the confidence of the Jets going into Sunday’s game against the Egirls. Let’s see if Salah the “defensive” guru can bottle up Jalen Hurts and squeeze out a win putting Philly out if it’s misery .

Hurts should have been benched second half yesterday they probably would have won going for Minshew to clean up the mess of the first half .

Being 10-7 and winning the nfc East alone wouldn’t mean that much to me either.

that being said. Winning the division is the ticket to the playoffs and a home playoff game.

if the cowboys make it to an NFC championship game I’m not going to care what their regular season record was.

If the cowboys go one and done in the playoffs. Yes I’ll be disappointed.

There is absolutely no excuse for us not winning the NFC Least. None at all.

At the same time it also means nothing.

Once upon a time making it to the NFC Championship game was our standard.

Not any more.

Obviously but if they finish the season winning 4 of their last 10 games they aren't a contender in the playoffs.

the way i see it .... we cannot be worrying about the Iggles ... we are needing to worry about fixing our problems ourselves for our own team, instead of looking over
our shoulder on the lookout for Philly or Washington Who are playing- competiting better with QB Heineke (sp) .

the Iggles are not the eyes on the prize. ..they,..nor Washington Team are the big picture. .The bigger picture and prize is besting our schedule to
gain playoff advantage and host playoff games here.

We want Arizona, Bucs, and Aaron Rodgers coming here in Dallas with our own crowd.

I am shocked at how bad Seattle is this year. I didn't think they would win their division but I thought they were at least a .500 team. They are pretty horrible.

To be honest I'm not so sure the Rams "compete" with the top teams. Seems they may be closer to, or on par with, a healthy Cowboys' team. We will see down the stretch.

We may just need to worry about our issues.

every week is different in the NFL. We have seen good teams lose to bad teams on multiple occasions. We could end up 10-7 win the division and do damage. We could also win out and suck it up in the playoffs. Its the journey and getting to the tournament is goal 1. Id like to go in hot obviously but if we don't i ain't losing sleep. This is a good team and once we get our horses back in the stable i think some of you ledge walkers will come back in to solid ground. The defense is my biggest worry.
