3rd best record in the NFL. Facts are stubborn things.
Good question. The comment you quoted....was not really meant to technically assess this season so far. But the truth of it...is clear....don't you think?
I watched tampa get dominated in the 1st qtr and most of the 2nd. I then watched them assert their will and just plain make plays to win in the 2nd half. The opposite of what we did last week.
I'm reluctant to compare to other teams. We aren't them.
I think we have not done well to assert our will regardless of missing players. The missed pass to Noah, which h dak apologists are sick of me bringing up (I get why they don't want to talk of it), is telltale sign.
I'm still in. I hope we can get the "reinforcements" back and finish up strong. There isn't much time...we are leaking our season away. Plug it up and sail on!
3rd best in the early days of the season.Yep, we sure are. Not playing like it lately but 3rd best record.
3rd best in the early days of the season.
In the last 4 weeks....heading into the meat....are we still the 3rd best team?
We seem to be losing our ground....like quicksand...while tampa , new England, and green bay are forging onward
To answer your question....I am once again going to have to evoke Romo. He too....threw us back in the game time after time. Until he failed and we crucified him.I get it, and missed throws happen for sure, and when teams lose the QB has to come into question. I do think we have the most missed games by any team with a winning record. Dont get me wrong I expect them to step up also.but we are well over 30 games missed by starters while every other winning team is well below 20. I think they will get back and when they do it will al be ok. We are 2 games back of the #1 seed things change fast in the NFL and I expect them to keep changing. And there is no haters or apologists as Ive said before, there is only what happend and how its taken. For instance one could say Dak had a bad game against the Raiders, or he could say Dak threw us back into a game that the defense gave up 500 yards and 33 points without his #1 and #2 WR...which one is wrong?
Since you didn't provide...you'll have to give me some time.I mean look at the teams that are 1-2 or 2-2 over the last 3 or 4 games...

Dak still has a chance to make it right. I kinda think he's on that cusp too. He needs to gather this team on his shoulders....can he?
He had 2 chances to go down and win the game.Dak threw for 375 yards, 2 TDs, and had zero turnovers, without his top 2 receivers. Meanwhile, the defense gave up 500+ yards and 36 points.
It's obvious to anyone with a rational thought which one is wrong.
He did go down and put the team ahead numbnuts. We’re you even watching? He had 2 chances to go down and win the game.

He had 2 chances to go down and win the game.
So how did the Cowboys comeback from deficits of 30-22 with 8 minutes to play and 33-30 with 2:54 to play to force overtime? Or were those not pressure situations for Dak???
I had to literally go back and rewatch the end of the game to see what you're talking about... what are you talking about?!?He had 2 chances to go down and win the game.

Here is the thing Dak, for the Cowboys to have "bandwagons", we would have to be winning, but we can't because you are our QB. We are a better version of the Lions but that is it. No QB does less with more than you.
After the Dallas Cowboys’ disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Dak Prescott threw a bit of shade at “bandwagon” fans. Prescott addressed the idea twice during his post game media session, admitting that “a bunch of people are jumping off the bandwagon.”
