Dak has thrown many bad passes, like the 1 he sailed at Zeke’s feet against the Vikings in 2019 to ‘close out the game’. I’m not sure which one was worse, the one to Brown or the 1 to Zeke. Or the one during a clutch moment where he sailed it over the head of Zeke into the arms of the DB who ran it for a pick 6 after throwing it at the helmet of Dez, running a crossing route full speed..

Sorry, but the actual punter bailed Dak out that drive, by booming it, when they should have gotten the ball around the 50…. I mean we can go on and on..

He's not perfect but there is no denying that his performance steps up late in tight games. Amazing stat.

His best year so far, but inconsistent. Any fair minded person has to see that.......and yes, the rest of the team isn’t holding up their ends either

Statistically, they were 20th in scoring defense. So I wouldn’t say they were good.

Look I get the “this is our formula” and I believe we can win with it argument, but Dak is not elite. He’s ‘good’ in respect to guys like Hurts and Mayfield, but that’s not saying much. Mayfield last year showed you basically 2016 is not an anomaly.

Name the elite QBs.

Didn't miss a single pass in 4 OT games. It sucks the streak ended on Thanksgiving, but it's still notable. Apologies if this is common knowledge, it slid right by me.

@don_dougan - Here's an amazing stat. Dak Prescott has never thrown an incomplete pass in 4 career OT games. He's 18 of 18 for 214 yards, 11.9 yards per att, 3 GW TD's, 0 sacks & a 155.79 passer rating. Only loss at Hou when the #Cowboys punted on 4th & 1 from the Hou 42.

Actualiy yes, that’s why NFL situational stats rely on plus or minus 7 in the fourth quarter, because that implies the QB has to score a TD in the red zone, while the defenses are playing everything in front of them in those scenarios.

And that’s also why Dink and Dunk Charlie had like a less than 5 YPC, 61% completion percentage 0 TDs and 1 INT with only one pass over 20 yards in those scenarios last year, when he was supposedly ‘leading his team back’ and not getting garbage yards. Even Dalton was better and he wasn’t even close up a guy like Watson, whose completion percentage shot up to like 70% with an over 10 YPC and like 5 TDs to 1 INT off the top of my head.

Your original post claimed Dak dinked and dunked....his OT average per pass is 10.5 and his average air yards is 13.3.

Probably should go back into hibernation and wonder how your Wentz analysis went so wrong.

Dak-stans can’t even admit there was a problem when it took him one week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3, meaning the same year he was the “legend of OT”.

His last game in OT, premier veteran Dak, was the same old checkdown Charlie, who sailed a pass with his horrible mechanics behind Brown. And that was after 2 completions of a whopping 2 and 4 yards to Zeke, I guess that means he was 2-3, so yeah! Accuracy!!!


Even Cooper Rush could have made the first two throws and that last throw, going 3-3…

Carr was 1 for 2 with a woefully underthrown deep ball that he was bailed out on.

How many more excuses do you need for this mediocre QB?

Imagine when the run game is no longer good anymore and Dak starts seeing zone a lot more and he’s got to go through progression. I mean right now, he sees cover 2 and it’s basically a check into a run play.
