They discussed some very hot topics.

The current Rams law suit with Kronke , the Daniel Snyder emails in Washington , gambling and Goodell along with some personal questions about his involvement with the Cowboys now, past and in the future.

One question they ended the interview with was did he think Dallas would ever be forced by public pressure to change our name from the Cowboys. He of course said we shouldn’t bet on it.

But overall Jethro held up fairly well and Costas didn’t corner or grill him as much as he could have.

If they change Cowboys to anything else I'm gone. Should have never changed Washington's team name either.

Regardless of how you feel about Washington changing their name, and if they should have, it’s completely irrational to believe on any level that there’s any support on the smallest level to even suggest Dallas changes their name. If anything, they may one day drop Dallas but that’s doubtful due to how iconic it is

Costas was first one I’ve seen who even questioned Jethro on the possibility due to public perception.

I haven’t seen the interview, but I can assure you the question was asked in jest and probably only given due to the close proximity of the two franchises

You would think, but our local high school here in NJ had the name Cowboys and were forced to change it because some people felt it was offensive. This was despite several historians testifying how real Cowboys were actually represented by all races. I don't think I am allowed to provide any commentary here but these issues begin somewhere and tend to snowball. I can envision the Dallas Cowboys being pressured to change their name in the next few years unless our society decides there are more important issues to fight over.

Is Costas still and egotistical tool? I find him very hard to watch. I commend you for your fortitude.

A) Somebody stills pays Costas to do what he does?

B} Only Costas would bring that up in an interview with Jerry.

C) Real pressure to change the name is coming. Might not be today or tomorrow but it is coming.

I heard the big cats are petitioning the NFL for the Bengals, Lions, Panthers, Jaguars for those teams to change their name.
Then the birds got involved. So Ravens, Cardinals, Seahawks, Eagles, Falcons want those names changed.
Then other animals also, Rams, Bears, Colts, Broncos don't like it either.
Dolphins, oh them too. Big men, they are mad about the giants name.

So every team will be called....(insert city) Football Team. Now see what them pesky ex-skins started.

I don’t know, after 25 years and counting I might entertain the idea of Dallas Patriots if they threw in Bill B. Would be nice not to have to wait 25 years more….
