News: PFT: Garrett in Consideration for Duke HC

I think he has no business coaching anything.

You honestly deep down truly...truly believe that? Be honest answer honestly.

I mean he is another human living on the same planet as you that had the skill to make it to the elite of the elite at his craft, and we as people are so evil towards each other we can go on a message board and act like he shouldn't ever coach ever again. Why.... because he couldn't do what 99.99999 % of the human population can't do and win a SB in the NFL? I mean...seriously?

I'm not a big Garrett fan but I sincerely hope he succeeds in whatever it is he decides to do. He never ruined my life enough to think otherwise. Seems like a good guy that players respect.

Yea hes beyond awful, had no business coaching. Just hope he keep getting jobs within the division

The college level is where is belongs. He will be just fine there as long as it's not an elite level.

He would fail at an Alabama or Georgia just like he did in the NFL

Duke, Utah State, Kansas. Those are the type of schools he would by ok

You're the guy who laughs at the joke when the popular guy calls the nerdy guy a loser in front of everyone else. I get it...sometimes that's the easy route. Nick Saban is 65-63 in 8 seasons of NFL. Garrett is 85-67. I imagine if we could go back in time this same guy would be saying Nick Saban shouldn't be coaching at any level after his atrocious run at the elite level..and you'd be laughing with him in agreement.

I'm the one who knocks, I'm the one picking on the nerdy guy. Garrett is that nerdy guy, does not belong in the NFL. Amateur level may be better for him, he's just not a professional level coach.

I'm with some of you that think he could be a good college coach. As we all know, he seems to be the "motivator" type that wants his team to buy in on cliché slogans. Plus, he seems to want to be the player's buddy. So, yeah, could fit in to the collegiate level really well and even recruit. To be honest, I'd be interested to see how he does (just for fun, do not get that twisted that I ever want him back in Dallas).
