Some unsettling things about the upcoming WFT game

A poor showing today would further prove that Fat Mac can't inspire.
A solid win would offer proof that we've matured and left the December swoons behind.

So, a "solid win" would have nothing to do with the HC, but loss is squarely on his his shoulders. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm pretty confident. WFT has played it's best ball and barely won the last couple games. Dallas started to come out of the slump last week and the momentum will carry over to this week. Plus we're fully healthy on D.

Who is going to run the ball with any kind of authority?

When this team relies on Dak to throw the ball all over the lot the end result is often times not in their favor. We better see the early season Dakota today.

With the money and picks we have thrown at the Oline anybody should be able to . That said Dak needs to run it when its there and keep the defense off balance . Its Daks job to move the chains that is what he is getting paid a Kings Ramsome to do .

It's not the running that got Dak in trouble, it's the failure to slide after he's gotten all the yards he can easily get. If there's a wide open lane and he can get a first down or substantial yardage, he has to take it. A quarterback who never leaves the pocket gives defenses less to worry about.

Of course having said that Dak is hardly Lamar Jackson, 4.8 in the 40 is hardly blazing speed, and even that 4.8 was on a track, in shorts, starting from a sprinter stance. His game 40 is probably more like 5.2. Take what you can get and go down, that's low risk...

When I look at the WFT roster and compare it to the Cowboys roster I cannot see how the Cowboys, almost fully healthy lose this game unless they come out unprepared and flat.

Honestly, looking at the WFT roster, I don't see how they won 6 games. I watched some of the Raiders game and frankly, I thought the Raiders should have won that game. If Carr played anything like he played against Dallas the Raiders win easily. So Washington has had some luck. But luck is important too.

Still, The Cowboys roster is not just marginally better than Washington's, they are way better than Washington - on paper. Washington is as banged up, if not more banged up, than New Orleans was. They have injuries and COVID problems. If they beat Dallas today, then they win the coaching and character awards. At the same time, I cannot see Dallas coming out flat for such a big divisional game. I think we see the Cowboys team we saw early in the year, especially on offense.

But if Dallas starts slow again then anything can happen.

There has been no question of who has the better team this season with the exception of KC and the Bucs.
Unfortunately, we seem discombobulated and ill coached at times.

Not of you if you use recent history. WFT have beaten the Bucs and the Raiders en route to their 4 game win streak. We've lost 4 of 6 and looked pretty bad in 5 of those, even though one was a win against a Saints team without a QB. If Dak doens't get more consistent in a hurry, this game won't go well.

WFT does have the TB number. They really should have beaten them in the playoffs last year. Shows matchups matter.

i get we struggled some are in bit of a slump but a win is win and loss a loss..i watched WFT games and most like last week are ugly lucky wins don't make their 4-2 and our 3-3 so much different ..there are no style points.,.they could have easily been 2- 4 over 6 instead of 4 game win streak, like our wins, some were bad on the eyes and also for us easily the raiders loss went to bad day for the refs 3 point loss..

Cant play scared Montgomery this is the NFL . He is getting paid to move the chains and needs to run when its there and it has been there . Forced balls with open ground in front of you leads to watching the playoffs at home
