Some unsettling things about the upcoming WFT game

WFT is missing some key players— and even if they had their healthy players, Dallas would STILL have the better team.

We are getting healthier. We are fired up for the stretch run. Dallas will be ready to rumble today— and we will sweep the WFT this year.

We are going to lay waste to Wash today…

We want the Skins! We want the Skins! We want the Skins!

Early in the week I had it, more or less,
Cowboys 24
WFT 20

* Then Zeke (who is not even average) talked like he was sacrificing himself and was still hurting, drag me off the field feed me yada yada
* Then, chaps, I hear Pollard is working on a torn ? plantar fedelis? Blimey. Can he walk on it?
* Then Fat Mac shoots off his mouth
* Then Jerry questions route running
* Then Jerry and his court jesters telegraph our intentions vis-à-vis Parsons as DE or to the shorthanded LBs.
*Then ...

Then, dear lads and me followers, I say unto you
WFT 23
Cowboys 20

It will come down to this: If Dak doesn't pass for 350 yards, no way we can win with a miserly 40 rushing yards by Sequel Elliott.
Hollah, old boys!

wont be close. Dallas 34 wft 17

WFT could play with 8 and the other 8 Refs will insure their win. Jerruh will never see another SB, the Commish has spoken.

There has been no question of who has the better team this season with the exception of KC and the Bucs.
Unfortunately, we seem discombobulated and ill coached at times.

What team hasn’t struggled this season? We lost our momentum. We can find it again.

If the Cowboys can't beat the WFT today, they should not be in the post season conversation.

100% correct

While we would certainly still be able to win the division over the next 4 weeks— a poor showing today would reveal deep character and maturity issues in this team.

Say what you want about the OP and the context of the post. He brings up a valid point…

Who is going to run the ball with any kind of authority?

When this team relies on Dak to throw the ball all over the lot the end result is often times not in their favor. We better see the early season Dakota today.

A poor showing today would further prove that Fat Mac can't inspire.
A solid win would offer proof that we've matured and left the December swoons behind.

Are you simply blaming Zeke for any of the mess that could come.......already? And you left out a few scenarios, notably KMoore possibly calling a "bad" game, LVE moving like a "senior", or the OL making WFT resemble '95 Bears. Thanks. I'm in the DMV hopping we plant 40 on the FedEx scoreboard and preparing to analyze exactly what I see.

Really only 2 things bother me about this game:

1. It's a division game in a continuing bitter rivalry. Can NEVER assume anything, no matter how bad one team is or how good one team is, the outcome is totally in doubt.
2. A Dallas win puts the Cowboys in the driver's seat for the division title. Won't settle it, but for Washington to win all 4 of their remaining games is pretty unrealistic. So Washington is, or should be, more desperate to win, and will probably play with more emotion, which means a lot in any game.

On the other hand, Heinike is the Washington quarterback, and the Cowboys have Gregory back. So the pressure should be there. And Lawrence has now had one game back after the injury, as well as Gallup, and Steele (for what it's worth) is apparently going to be available. So those are pluses for Dallas.

Dallas 24, Washington 21...
