Sucks for Philly because they have to travel to WAS and then play on a short week the next game, while fighting for a Playoff spot with a healthy team.

Dallas has this division locked up!
I mean they play a Washington team missing 30% of their players and than the Giants missing 30% of their starters and not to mention they just played the Jets lol

It’s not like they just played the Rams and are now playing the Packers followed by the Chiefs

So this might be the first time the Cowboys clinch the NFC East on a Tuesday. As long as a win and WFT loss does the trick.

Also wondering why the delay of these games is only two days? How many players will really come off the list for these teams by then? It's not like they're trying to get rid of a cold.

He doesn't...he think he know everything because he's older that Jerry....lol

Dude, great sense of human, so why the BS? And I simply know what a fan of over 60 seasons knows. Yep, ya pick up a few things.

I don’t think we can do either this weekend

The Cowboys can clinch the division with:

  • Cowboys win + Washington-Eagles tie OR Cowboys win + Washington loss + Cowboys clinches strength-of-victory tiebreaker over Eagles
The Cowboys can clinch a playoff berth with:

  • Cowboys win + Saints loss or tie OR
  • Cowboys win + 49ers loss OR
  • Cowboys tie + Vikings loss or tie + Saints loss or tie + Falcons loss or tie OR
  • Vikings loss + Falcons loss + Saints loss + Eagles-Washington tie OR
  • Vikings loss + Falcons loss + Saints loss + Cowboys clinch strength-of-victory tiebreaker over Eagles

So that means we are robbed of a potential Gatorade dumping moment on our head coach for winning the division on Sunday.

Don't like this at all........no one came to our aid when Coop had to sit for 2 games. Sure he was just one player but a major impact player for us. In other words, let's say you're the Packers or Bucs, who would rather lose, 7-8 backup players or Brady or Rogers? It's come to quantity vs value. Leave it alone, too late in the season to fix without making sure every team has/had a level playing field.

not having enough players is a player safety issue so the Coop comparison is off base. More practically, it is just unwatchable to see teams fielding QBs just signed off the street.

So did they determine a number of players required to postpone? Is it a number of starters? Perhaps higher profile players? Or is it totally arbitrary?

For those of us in the DC area, we'll now get to watch Dallas-NY instead of WFT-Philly at 1PM ET on Fox.

Teams do that for injury reasons all the time. Nobody delayed the Cowboys-Eagles game in 2020 so we didn't have to start Ben DiNucci.

1000%........Every team/player has the rules. Deal with them........like all other teams have had to through week 14.

NFL now has painted themselves into a corner of sorts, if any other team in playoff contention or in the actual playoffs has a COVID outbreak, then they really can't force them to forfeit or they'll have to move those games back as well. Or otherwise look selective and contradictory in how they are enforcing the rules on some NFL teams but not on others.
