Ah, I forgot about Ball. Possibly another good reason to wait a year before addressing tackle. At guard, we've just got to decide if Collins is an option there. If so, we don't have to spend an early pick on the position. I haven't given up on McGovern, but if we are replacing him with Williams, I do question him becoming what we need at the spot.
Going into this season, I considered McGovern to be that sixth linemen that created some depth and gave us a future replacement. Although that might not be working out, Steele appears to have been a real find. We wouldn't be talking about possibly moving Collins to guard or left tackle, if the scouts/coaches hadn't unearthed him. If Ball turns out, that would keep that depth going.
I also believe Nsekhe was a good short-term signing, but this is primarily about depth/starters for the long term. It's good to know we have some possibilities and don't necessarily have to reach in the draft for replacements.
