I Think Jalen Ramsey is Jealous of Diggs

I don't blame him. Jalen has 14 career INTs. Diggs has 11 this year alone.

Diggs also has 14 INTs - in only 25 games played.

I won't post Jalen's tweet since this is a Family friendly website. Diggs saw the tweet, and retweeted it. Jalen's still top dog at CB, but Diggs is gaining on him and is still learning the position. Not bad for a converted WR.

I think about this all the time. But, Ramsey's big mouth wouldn't have submitted to Red's authority as his head coach. I bet that is a major reason why they chose Zeke. Talented knucklehead.

I don’t like Ramsey either but he’s a heck of a DB.

The guy can be the best corner or safety in the NFL.

He’s the Micah Parsons of defensive backs. He can play anywhere.

Actually I would have not complained if that was the way it worked out.
I would have been disappointed at first, but would have been ok. Well, I may have complained some at the time, because below was my 2 scenario's going into the draft.

I also said before the draft, Zeke and a QB in the 2nd round. Or, a QB in the 1st round and Henry in the 2nd. Because Zeke would not get to the 2nd round.

Jalen is the better corner, for sure. It isn’t really all that close as Ramsey is probably the best cover corner since prime Revis.

But if turnovers are incredibly valuable, so if we’re talking importance to ones team… Diggs might actually have the edge.

That's probably not true. Any GM who knows analytics knows that turnovers are huge. There's no more valuable thing you can do for your team if you play D than get the ball back for your O. I'm sure there'd be some who'd take Ramsey, because his skills are crazy, but there'd be plenty who'd take Diggs too. And, frankly, I think the latter would be the smart ones. Particularly when you factor in Jalen's toxic personality.

That's why I feel like GMs are going to take the shutdown guy every time.

Whether its yards given up or Interceptions it does not really matter. The Rams give up 242 a game and we give up 240 and we are plus 9 in interceptions and plus 11 in takeaways versus the Rams.

So simply - I am completely fine with Diggs and I am not sure all these GM's would take Ramsey. Every coach knows you need to win the turnover battle to win games and Diggs singlehandedly has us from mid pack to the top of the league. We don't win as many games if Diggs shuts guys down completely and teams go after Brown all day.
