That’s all well and good... now compare the 2021 Cowboys and our defense to the 2021 Steelers and their D.

If you apply the same exact standards that got Harrison the award in 2008, the 2021 award should go to Parsons or Diggs.

Yes, it is fear of an undesirable result. I called this months ago. “They won’t give the award to a Dallas Cowboy unless they absolutely have to.” Now they 2008 standards have been flushed down the toilet because those standards would mean a Cowboy wins it this year... surprise, surprise.

Bro, you're rehashing 13 year history. Are the same people even voting as 13 years ago to even know what "standard" will be used? The fear is real. You're worse than people who pre-game whine about the refs screwing us but then crickets if we win. Lol. Built-in excuse for a feared unfavorable outcome. Honestly, I almost want to see Hochuli call one of our playoff games just to see the freakout on these boards pre-game.

So you’re finally accepting that the standards magically changed from 2008 to 2021.

That’s a start!

And yes, it will be a lot of the same media members who voted for Harrison in 2008.

Funny how no matter what the changing standard is, the end result is the same: a Steeler winning it over a Cowboy.

I called all of this months ago. I guess you could call that “fear.”

There are 2 reasons Micah wouldn't win.

1. Trevon Diggs stealing votes
2. His rookie status

He should win but the NFL isn't always fair in regard to these awards.
wouldnt be shocked to see Diggs win it. Would you? Imagine a scenario by which we have 2 defenders win these prestige's awards. Diggs and Micah . Has that ever been done 2 defenders on the same team winning dpoy and the other winning the droy ? I might need to research that.

I do not care about individual awards but there isn't a person on the planet, and that includes Parsons and Diggs, that thought the Cowboys would have 2 in the top 4 favorites. Not many teams do that but sure as hell not the Cowboys D of the last 25 years.

I do not know If there is a bigger or more wanted surprise than that.

Micah needs to get into the end zone to win this I think..With the 2 opponents we have left it will be hard to outsack Watt..Both teams will need a spy and most likley that will be #11. We shall see..kids special though thats for sure.

No need to out sack TJ.

Just break rook sack record of 14.5 sacks set by another freak in Jevon Kearse.

2 sacks away from that goal.

I will be very difficult for Parsons to get interceptions at linebacker. Most interceptions at linebacker is when QB's don't see the LB getting into passing lanes. The LB jumps in and gets the INT.

Parsons is at a point now where QB's have to know where he is every play. He has become a focal point. So QB's not seeing him jumping lanes will be tougher for him than most linebackers

It is much more likely he will get an INT similar to DLaws on Sunday Night

If it's only sacks, there is no way he can catch Watt.....I guess it's over.
If Diggs get 3 picks in these last couple games his odds should go thru the roof
An all time record that’s stood that long would be hard not to win

It’s looking like Parsons and Diggs may cancel each other out. Both will get votes and that may eliminate both of them.

He might be short, but he will know where 11 is at all times. He's not stupid

Parsons getting an interception because the QB simply didn't see him is unlikely. Not saying it will never happen. Just saying the QB will be much more aware of 11 than the average LB
