This is a case of staying too long. There was a time when Ben was one of the best QBs in the league. He's the opposite of Andrew Luck who was also at one time one of the best QBs in the league but didn't stay long enough. Ben will retire as a 2 time SB champ (XL, XLIII), NFL OROY(2004), 6 time Pro Bowler (2007. 2011, 2014-2017), two-time passing yards leader (2014, 2018). Job well done!

I agree, and I know I'm presuming to know more about it than I actually do. I’ve read a bit about him though and he does not appear to be a great person by any stretch. My index of suspicion is increased with multiple accusations and lack of character.

Antonio Brown is another one I don't give the benefit of the doubt for example.

Then there is the hypocritical fact he plays for the Steelers. It's not a hard leap for me to dislike him. Never said it was fair though.
