Leon Lett, Darren Woodson or Prime Time for me. But if you twisted my arm, it'll definitely be Prime.

I was thinking of Leon Lett too. He would be a huge help at DT. But he had a habit of boneheadedness at the most inopportune time. As much as I want to forget this, I can't.

This is a no brainer!

Larry Allen all day every day. The O line goes from our biggest ? to our biggest strength.

On defense, Neon Deion!!

Another guy that would be nice to have, and I don’t know if he’s been mentioned, Travis Frederick would be nice to have.

I just think Larry Allen should be a run away winner for this team. We need the ability to just impose our will on teams.

I'm trying to avoid the endless Dak debates, though I might just be fooling myself. So, you can't pick Staubach, Aikman or any other Cowboys quarterback. Aside from that, which past Cowboy player and his position would you team with this offense or defense.

Me? It's a tie between Charles Haley, Erik Williams, Larry Allen and Emmitt Smith.

I gotta go Emmitt Smith. His durability, reliability and productivity at the running back position would make us a better balanced team and even more dangerous offensively. I'm okay with the pass rush, and although I'd take an upgrade on the offensive line, I think we can get by with the line we have, provided Tyron Smith returns.
However, the lack of a running game concerns me. And I believe we'll have to lean more on that in the playoffs.

But that's my take. What's yours?
Charles Haley, and it’s not even close I truly believe defense wins championships. Yes we could get a great offense of lineman but that’s not gonna give us that much more production. I want to stop people. I can score

Witten in his prime, since it would greatly help our Red Zone efficiency ,which I saw here is currently last in the NFL

2nd choice is Danny White since he was officially the team's punter......and he can do other things as well

Witten was never that great in the redzone.

Dez is probably the best Dallas ever had in that area.

I’m not sure he would actually give us that much more production. I’d rather take Charles Haley. Shut out

Who threw Dez Bryant his first ever play with touchdown catch. Jason Witten for that matter also. It’s OK you can see it. Prescott

Yeah but why replace Randy Gregory when you could replace Connor Williams with the greatest offensive lineman of all time or Biadiscz with the best center in franchise history?

A healthy Sean Lee would make this the best defense in the NFL and we could really unleash Parsons.

So Rice is the best because numbers but we do mental gymnastics to say someone like Jim Brown is better than Emmitt? Ok…

Emmitt and Jerry are the same player at different positions.
No Rice is the best because he is the best. If you spent your life watching him, you would know he was the goat. Thinking Moss was is beyond comical

There were no mental gymnastics done there. Ill concede that Emmitt VS Brown is debatable. But Moss over Rice is worst take Ive seen here in quite some time. What has Moss done in his entire career to put him in a convo Rice other then run faster and jump higher?

Thats cool. Emmitt was the best too.

Jim Brown over Emmitt Smith was a bad take.

Witten was phenomenal, but I just don’t think he would be a better fit than Schultz in our current offense. I don’t recall an instance that shows Schultz being a bad blocker, if I’m honest. I am a huge fan of Schultz. I hope we re-sign him. Dude has potential to be an elite tight end in this league.
There's plenty of evidence. None of our TE's can.

No wrong answer with the most dominant players at their respective positions:

DT - Randy White/Bob Lily

OL - Larry Allen

CB - Deion Sanders

DB - Mel Renfro

C - Travis Frederick

We see this argument often. Bob Lilly or Randy White or Mean Joe Greene couldn’t play today.

For one, if they played today, Lilly would bulk up and play at 280, not 260. White played at 265-270. Greene at 275. Those two would easily be 285 today.

Isn’t Donald 6’1” 280? He’s the best in the past 30 years but do you think he’s stronger than White, who benched 450 lb at 10 reps? Or Lilly who lifted the front end of a car onto the curb by himself? White and Greene were so quick in shooting the guard-center gap, and Lilly was quicker than the both of them.

Lilly was legendary. He’d be fine in 2021.
These players are way faster today. MIcah might be the fastest player in the league if this was 1965.

You think Larry Csonka would be a starting RB today???? bahahahahahahahahahahhaha
