Zeke has one game over 50 yards since the Broncos game

That wasn't my point, they didn't run it enough. He had a couple nice runs. Pollard didn't get any either and that's a problem.

What nice runs? His best run was called back by penalty. When your average is 2 or 3 yards a carry, you don’t deserve more. Simple stuff.

Zeke needs 85 yards next game to hit 1000 yards, if he doesn't then he'll have 3 out of 6 seasons where he hasn't hit the 1000 yard mark, and with what Dallas is paying him, barely hitting 1000 yards is horrible
Worst contract in cowboys history.

LOL Yes but jerry likes him so.........
He had a 1.1 avg per carry today, that isnt real bad is it?:D
I think the problem is the nose rings, they weigh him down.

2016 Zeke didn’t have a nose ring… short hair too.. You may be on to something.

Done with Zeke...

Restructure (aka cut salary) or cut his broken fat ***.

Yes, I understand the contract ramifications. Most disappointing Cowboys player in a long time.

The running game is an issue no matter the back. Moore called no outside runs for either back and we have Schultz trying to block Jones one on one. I want pollard to get more playing time but still don’t think Moore would run the ball.

Zeke's done and needs to go. Another Jerruh mistake

You can't cut him.

And he has no incentive and the Cowboys have no leverage to cut his base salary.

In other words, you stuck with him for another year. Well done, Jerry.

One of the runs he had, I swear I thought it was Pollard. There was a lot of burst and speed. And of course, it was called back due to a penalty.

He has one game over 50 yards since the broncos game where he went for 51.

He hasn't had a game over 55 yards since new England in week 6. Week 6!

He's got the largest total contract by a running back by about 15 million. Second highest average rate per year behind McCaffrey.

I know this team has other issues but I was wondering everyones thought on this.

Is this team better off releasing Zeke in the off-season (even if they can't really save any money on the cap)? He has nothing left in the tank.

he doesn’t get enough rushes.

Did you see moore call the same straight up the middle rushing play ?

do we have only one rush play in the playbook ?

what happened to the 'boy genius' ?

Yeah Zeke looks like a beat player, even on the sidelines, he sit's there and stares...imagine if we had Henry...

Zeke doesn't look right, nor does he look good on most plays. That being said, teams are stacking the box, our OL is not playing well...and teams are forcing Dak to beat us. Until he can start beating down on opposing defenses nothing will change, and our running game won't change. We know this though for the last 25 years

Zeke is done since 2019.

No need to start new threads about him.

I’m certainly critical of Zeke’s contract, but the issue right now is the run blocking. The middle of the line gets no push and Schultz can’t block at all. At a minimum, we have to run more to the perimeter or do something different schematically.
