Moore got exposed since the denver game, and he doesnt have the talent or experience to change the playcalling .

He needs more 'training in the job' , i just hope jerry doesnt extend 'boy wonder' for 10 years. Doing exaclty what he did with JG; from 2nd string QB to Coach . A DECADE OF DISASTERS -

His inexperience is clearly showing. When they stop what he’s doing, he doesn’t have another answer. That is most apparent with the vanished running game.
 
I see the same stubbornness like JG, not adjusting quickly during the game, heck not adjust after the Denver game on what defenses are doing to the offense. If we can't run, go into west cost style passing, quick 3 step drops or something. I hate those lateral throws
 
Linehan was better for the running game than Kellen. At least it was clear they were a running offense when Linehan was the OC. With Kellen, they want to be a pass-first team with Dak. The team's identity is no longer about running the ball so when they do try it, like today vs. an average run D that wasn't even putting many defenders in the box, they don't run it well.

I am not as down on Moore as many of you, but I do have some criticisms:

1. I think his focus was on something other than the Cowboys today. (Jaguars, possibly).

2. Kellen Moore’s Achilles heel is running the football. He doesn’t know how, or when or where to run the ball. He unimaginatively seems to call the same running plays between the tackles play after play and then abandons the run altogether.

3. He seems to refuse to incorporate Dak into the running game. 3 or for designed running plays for Dak would really change the defenses aggressiveness.

4. He gets away from what works. He went from using a lot of “motion” to much less at times. I don’t get why he won’t incorporate motion more effectively.

5. His tendencies have become predictable.

I want coach Mac to take over this offense for better or worse.
He is supposed to be an offensive guru.

You know sweeps ect.
 
it’s inexcusable for Amari to get 7 targets all game. he should be getting 7 targets within the first two series. not all game.

i don’t get how we can never consistently feed our star WR? when i always see other teams feed over and over to death. it’s more than just Dak. yeah dak has to throw the ball but they also got to scheme guys open. for gods sake, Cooper is prob one of the best route runners in the league.

The personell group on that playcall made it sooo obvious that a 5 year old kid could have predicted the call. lmao

That's prolly 60% of our problem. No excuses for Dak though.
 
I just dont understand why we had the best offense the first like 6 or 7 weeks and showed a ton of trick plays and were extremely creative and now only run the same screen plays and hand offs that never work out.

I mean yes Dak is struggling but Moore doesnt know how to adept and seems to be outcoached against good teams.

He needs to go and we need to go back to a Run heavy Team. There is no chance of winning anything with Dak being forced to be a Thrower. He cant.
 
Never liked the guy. The Cowboys have never been successful being a pass happy team. This joker has abandoned the run and has tried to make his buddy Dak and elite QB. They need to be giving Zeke 20 carries and Pollard 15. We need an experienced OC.

With all honestly the blueprint was the Broncos game. The offense has never really recovered. Two high and disguise coverages and Dak cannot seem to read defenses well enough unless it’s the NFC East. He has guys open and won’t pull the trigger.

The run wasnt working. Thats mostly because our O-Line stinks for most of the season and also because we always call the same 3-4 run plays up the middle with no push.

We had 25 yards with 12 carries. AZ was feasting on the run.

I dont know why we went away from the outside and misdirection running that worked so well against WFT. I didnt even see that once.

Also Dak needs to run more. If hes too scared to play because of his foot injury last year he should quit football.

Also Zeke needs to go after 2023 when his salary if mostly off the books. Hes a better FB these days.
