A game is 60 minutes long. If the reason they have to come back in a game late is because the QB and offense played pretty mediocre up until that point, then it's hard to then say, gee, what a great game by those guys.

Let's take your favorite player and an extreme example. If Elliott has 14 rushes for 18 yards but then rips off a 20 yard TD on a screen to win the game, no, he didn't have a great game. Because the reason they needed that late TD would be, in part, because Elliott didn't play well up until that point.

And no, we can't assume that it's a W if the defense gives the ball back to the offense. Likely, we tie it if Greg Z can actually make a kick and then in OT, anything can happen.

Hmmm.....................Dak's QB Rating was 105....................OUCH!!! Looks like you lose again.

And he was clutch in the 4th quarter again. Sorry pal, but you Dak trolls continue to look silly.

Nice to see someone with a brain dissect things. Yes our running game sucks. But the "zeke is hurt" things doesnt cut it anymore. Zeke is just done. He drops easy passes too.

This D really didnt come to play today. Penalties really screwed us all game on both sides of the ball. This entire team took the night off. Very discouraging as I see a pattern with these guys think they have arrived and they havent. We should have won this game no problem today.

The one pass which Zeke dropped on 2nd and long was cruel, if he catches it it would be a first down or close . Instead it was a 3 and out.

Not sure what game your watching....but he had 3 fumbles....and should of had 2 INTS. You just can't turn the ball over like that...and expect to have success.

Looks like you dont know what a "turnover means" LOL

The other team actually has to get it. FYI......................

There were people complaining about Dak after the TB game. So we shouldn't be surprised by these idiots who blame Dak for everyting.
Dak could have thrown for 500 yards and 4 TD today but had we lost because of ST or Defense failing, they would've blame Dak.

Heck even if we won, they would find something to blame Dak.

It wasn’t on Dak but he contributed. His performance as well as the offensive performance looked very similar to what we were seeing prior to last week. The defense didn’t get it done. We couldn’t force any turnovers and couldn’t make critical stops. Kyler Murray made us look silly at times today. Very discouraged with what I saw from the team today. We’re not looking good for the playoffs. I’m not confident we can beat a good team and a good QB.

So I want to be totally clear here. On that Schultz pass, where Aikman pointed out it was a bad throw, it wasn't actually a bad throw but instead it was Aikman's Cowboys' bitterness that made him say a good throw was bad throw?
Explain how a ball that was not touched by a defender is "almost picked"

All ears...

Yes, this qb had us to within 3 and likely would have tied or won the game had we gotten the ball back again.

I am often, OFTEN, correct when I speak football. Feel free to go back through my posts and point out all of my inaccuracies.

You will note I said this defense would be great by this time in the year early in the season when guys like you were jumping off buildings....

LOL, we were a 6 point home favorite. To say, wow guys, we came within three points of the Cards (a team missing key players and coming off three losses) is bizarre.

The fact we were down 11 late and needed a late rally was, in fact, due to an offense that largely sputtered for much of the game. The offense, including the QB, were not sharp for long stretches of the game. It's not like the Cards dropped 40 on us and Dak just kept scoring and just came up short.

You lack awareness but I remember you got on all fours for Marcus Mariota like you do for Dak.
I said Mariota could have been a good guy to draft and groom. He did play well for a while at Tennessee. Better than the chumps you got on your knees for. As for Dak, he's light years better than anything you've supported, so I wouldn't talk if I were you.

Ummmm, what are you talking about? I didn't say the Schultz pass I am referencing was almost a pick. Are you talking about another throw? The one I am referencing was late in the 2nd quarter. Dak threw a quick out to Schultz who was wide open. But Dak sailed the pass high and behind him. Aikman pointed out it was a throw Dak has to make.

Sure the play call might have been bad but Dak is also supposed to see what's happening and it became clear as day the Cards had the play read. You can see Baker and the defense shift over and Baker ran exactly to the right spot. Dak probably figured he could get the ball to the WR before Baker got there but nope. Ergo, not the smartest pass.
Yes, the ol' he should know everything all the time argument.

He had a defender in his face and couldn't have seen the defender in the throwing lane. Just like the pick he threw rolling out a few weeks ago. This isn't madden with an all-seeing view of the field.
