I am tired of this guy. Dude continues to play well and then lay egg after egg. No elite QB is hot and cold like dak is. Why? Because he aint elite.

Dak is an average qb. Not sure what my son sees in him but the guy has no balls. We had arizona where we wanted him and we actually let them beat us. DAK LET EM BEAT US

I dont even!!!!!

What did you guys expect. He's not now or never was 1st round material and will never be a Brady. He's just overpaid and mediocre.

We've said it before. Dak will play up to the level his OL is playing. He's not gonna sit back there and get pummeled into dust like Romo did.

The Cardinals dominated the LOS for most of the game. The Cowboys couldn't run the ball. So Dak looked as you would expect.

He looked the way he always does under those conditions.

Does that make him average or mediocre? I guess. It does if you say it does.

I've always thought you were a good and fair poster, no hyperbole, just good posts.

And I agree with everything you said here. I've been a fence-sitter for years, but it's getting harder not to jump off.

Great post in my opinion.
Thank you

The DC in Denver showed the blueprint to beat Dak and every team (that’s not a complete disaster …Giants, Washington, Atlanta) has used it week after week to perfection. It’s very simple …drop 2 safeties deep, crowd the line to take away the run and make him throw short in front of you. His career is pretty much over unless he figures this out. And he’s running out of time.

The continued stupid *** use of washed up Zeke has made it worse. He is done. Forever.

The o-Line excuse is getting old. News flash. QBs are still expected to make throws even when the pocket is “breaking down” Brady, Rodgers, and atleast 8 other QBs do this on a routine basis. Why can’t Dak? But the reality is, that the protection issues are being way overstated by those grasping at straws to excuse Daks horrid play.

Kirk Cousins, Ryan Fitzpatrick…just too inconsistent.

Look at his performance against the quality of opponents, that's what tells the real story. His entire career has benefitted from playing at a time when the NFC East has seen a decline in opposition strength. The Giants are a shell of what they were when Romo was starting. Same with Philly. Washington is a mess this year from injuries and their QB situation is one that hasn't looked right for a long time. Guess what, we get 6 games against opponents that are bad. We are 5-0 and the margin of victory in this wins hides and masks a very flawed team. Look instead at the team and more importantly Dak's performance when going up against playoff teams, watch the games and not his stats and tell me that looks like an elite QB, it isn't even close.

I thought he turned the corner but after the Denver game I've lost some trust in him. Was Eli Manning better than Dak?

Eli was better than Dak since he won 2 Super Bowl MVP’s.

QBs I'd rather have than Dak right now (no order)

1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Mahomes
4. Wilson
5. Allen
6. Herbert
7. Murray
8. Burrow
9. Lamar Jackson
*Watson (if he ever comes back)

Same level/tier - you can argue whether Dak is better/worse than these guys but in the end, they're still second tier to the QBs above:
Dak
Stafford
Wentz
Goff
Carr
Cousins
Tannehill
Garropolo
Ryan

How many of those QBs aren’t first round picks? Brady is the ultimate anomaly, but Wilson is the only other one in that first group. Dallas hasn’t spent a first round pick on a QB in over 30 years. Dak is a godsend when considering how little the team has invested in the position in the last 3 decades. You get what you pay for

Money doesn't necessarily make a QB good or better.

Jerry made the decision for Dak to be his savior QB, leader to a SB.

It is what it is. Grumbling, whinning, getting out of character won't help.

If we can endure the insanity for 25 years, a few more should be expected.

Buckle up, there's other things to enjoy besides football.

Average is too harsh. He is good just not great unlkess he uses his legs like he did as a rookie. In 2016 he was truly great. Last night Murray was great. Dak was just pretty good. Paying 40 million for pretty good probably doresn't get the job done.

Dak was the Garrett experiment of QBs. Jerry went with him because he thought he could reproduce 2016 for cheap, offloading the contract of Romo.

He ended up paying him anyways, while wasting a SB roster for this experiment.

You could add Mac Jones to that list seeing as how he is a rookie, has far fewer offensive weapons than Dak, an inferior offensive line, and yet here is their respective stats:

Dak Prescott

10-5 record

389 of 569 68.4% Comp % 4,154 Yards 7.3 YPA 32 TD's 10 INT's 14 Fumbles

Mac Jones

10-6 record

332 of 491 67.6% Comp % 3,540 Yards 7.2 YPA 21 TD's 12 INT's 6 Fumbles
