Arizona was missing top 2 CBs, their left tackle, top WR, and their running back. We lost to them short handed.
This team does a lot of talking. We haven’t won a lick in 26 years. Whether is Cooper,Dak, Parsons.
Play it one game at a time

Ya'll haters are crazy with hate.

This game was not on Dak. If anything, Dak kept us in this game.

I counted 5 batted balls and 2 drops. That is 7 of his 14 incompletes for the game.

There were 2 passes I would deem bad by him. 2.

His fumble in the 2nd to last drive...it sucks, but it happens and was a great play by the defender. I am more happy that he ran the way he did making people miss (more than Zeke did all game) and not afraid of his leg. If that 22 yard run didn't get called back, he had 2 less yards running than Kyler that you all think is the 2nd coming.

THis game was not on him but here is what was the cause of the loss:

  • The total lack of a running game and threat of the run. Just anemic. No one respects Zeke as he is clearly hurt.
  • Horrible penalties. Many advantageous 3rd downs turned into much more difficult 3rd downs.
  • Another crushing missed chip shot fg.
  • Jayron dropping that gimme pick in the end zone.
  • The HORRIBLE non-fumble call on a clear fumble at the end of the game. The defense finally made a play and the refs screw us. We last saw the ball with over 4 min left...never get it back. Clearly this is Dak's Fault.

You guys are all dejected and blaming our QB but I am encouraged. I see us beating them in the playoffs. I really do. I expect our defense to clamp them down even more and I expect our offense to not shoot themselves in the foot like they did today.
Something has to be done about the running game. Zeke can’t find a hole or ever read the line. He is DOA. I would bench him immediately, at least Pollard gives us a chance. Can we ever show some running creativity? Dame run up the gut!!!

I still do not know how everyone can call that fumble clear. I see a left elbow that may or may not be down as the ball is coming out. I have absolutely no idea whether that call would have been overturned even if they could have challenged it.
I see clear fumble and it wasn't that hard.
I agree
the OL play is the biggest issue, refs small amount and others less. lost by 3 imagine if the ol didn't have 5 penalties and could block better...they killed drives took away big plays..dak wasnt perfect but iof we need our QB to play perfect we are in trouble..i men the rams wins 2 game sin row with Stafford throwing 5 IJTs and not playing well at all..seen the jets nearly beat the bucs saw the eagles struggle with wft, took cinci a big comeback i mean they got it figured out as team but our OL kept torpedoing drives, period..

hanging this on dak once again signing out players with big deals and not using common sense is futile.
Great point on Stafford. He is a guy who is a "tier above" Dak to people who hate Dak.

Last three games, 5 TDs, 6Ints. 80 rating. All three wins by the Rams.

No Rams fans are saying they can't win with him.

Just our special fans.

Actually, Budda Baker and even Dak confirmed it was on Dak.
Baker said the Cards disguised coverage to confuse Dak, and Dak agreed.

Dak is in his sixth season as a starting quarterback, and he can't quickly process disguised coverage?
I don't even know if at this point he can get significantly better. If by year six, teams are disguising coverages and changing them at the last second before the ball is snapped and your quarterback can't decipher the coverage comfortable enough to make the right read and right, accurate throw, then I don't know when he's going to get it.
Even Ryan Clark acknowledged he was fooled by Dak.

I think Dak is a great guy who tried his hardest. But I fear he has reached his ceiling and needs every perfect in order for him and this team to succeed.

Both angles I have seen you cannot get a good look at his left arm, specifically forearm/elbow, which would have been what touched down first which is probably the reason that every ref they bring on to talk about that play doesnt seem to think it would have been overturned. If there is a clear angle of his left arm I want to know why we did not see it.

Reminded me of the Pack playoff game years ago. Hyde intercepted a Dak WR screen. Hyde said after the game, he knew it was coming because we had run the same play with the same personnel in the same formation against them earlier in the year.

Baker knows it's coming. You can see him in the replay shift over and basically gets a running start as the ball is snapped.

The statements were both in general and not to any specific play or situation.

He said they did a good job of disguising coverage, not that he was confused. He said he did a solid job of reading it.

The elbow i saw was attached to a cowboys player. That was the only question i had as well on the play but it turned out to be a cowboy.

It’s obvious you don’t. You take one meaningless stat and condense it into a game without watching. I can’t talk to homers who literally have no football knowledge. You are definitely a troll or Daks bro.

Exactly what I said about the game

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/pla...rth-quarter-surge-michael-gallup-dak-prescott

Pass offense

For the first three quarters, Prescott looked like the dude who has been struggling for much of the last two months. Too often he was inaccurate, missed open receivers or had passes deflected at the line of scrimmage. Amari Cooper returned to being an afterthought in the offense with three catches for 18 yards and a touchdown.

GRADE: D

Exactly what I said about the last half of season

https://syndication.bleacherreport....-discouraged-after-loss-to-cardinals.amp.html

It's been a sharp drop-off for Prescott and the Dallas offense since the beginning of the season. He opened the year with 16 touchdown passes in the first six weeks before suffering a calf injury that forced him to miss a game. After he returned, he mustered just nine touchdowns in the next seven games. He had three passing touchdowns with three interceptions in Weeks 13-15 combined.
You believing some jackalopes personal opinion on some phony website says all I need to know about you.

There's a reason why Jerry and the Cowboys wholeheartedly support Dak. It's because you and your clans bad opinions are a joke.

Yes, take comfort in that Ken.

After all, we should expect Dak (or any QB) to really say "I was confused as hell....I couldn't figure it out...can someone help me?"

I mean...i agree, the play was EASY to diagnose.

When i went back to try and grab a pic of the play, i was trying to remember what play it was...and once I saw McGovern out there wide...I said, "Oh here it is...wow" The Cards all perked up when they saw it and there was no hesitation.

This is why I said it was on the playcaller.

That’s absolutely misleading. I admit when he plays horrible. That was not on him yesterday. The entire office. Including Kellen Moore. Throw the ball deep at least once or twice really think you’re going to. Don’t you dare just put this on the quarterback
I don’t put it all on Dak, but he sucked. There are no ifs, ands or buts about. Zeke also sucked. The line sucked. But you don’t see me running around defending their craptastic performance either.

If they did a good job of disguising coverages and he couldn't take advantage of the coverage, he was confused. o_O

Unless, he knew what was coming but just didn't have the skill set or mental processing speed to overcome it? :(

Yes because every qb in the league THRIVES in 3rd and long....

No but the good ones find ways to make big plays when they need them. Dak isn't garbage but on the flip side he has no business being compared to Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady. He is better suited being compared to Cousins or Carr.

It's still a bad pass. Dak has to recognize what's going on there and you have to be blind to not see Baker literally running to the spot even before the ball was snapped.

My guess is Dak thought he could get it there before Baker got there. He was wrong. Ergo, bad play call but also bad play recognition on Dak's part.
