It makes a lot of sense to do everything to win the game. The worst thing they could do is lose the game and then the other teams lose on Sunday and the Cowboys could have moved up.

As long as there is still a chance for the 2 seed we can't rest players. We won't know how that plays out until Sunday so there can't be any quit in this team on Saturday.

On a second note, rumor has it Jerry is working hard to have the Cowboys play in that Monday Night playoff spot on 17 January 2022.

Not really a big enough roster to rest too many people besides all that.

This team needs to go out of the regular season on a positive note and beating a playoff team would do that.

Beyond that the cowboys should not lay down against the eagles under any circumstances.

There are a lot of questions to be answered before the tournament. Can we stop the run

Can we still get a turnover if we are playing from behind.

Can the offense stop getting penalties and convert on third down against a playoff team.
Can Big Mike manage his timeouts and the clock can the kicker be counted on

Is the defense something more than just passrush specialist

With all the money and draft picks we have spent to have a running game can we actually get it going and I don't care if Dak has to run the ball. Someone has to rush the ball effectively for this offense to work

If Eagles win Saturday, then 49ers lose Sunday, then PHL gets the 6th spot - thus avoids #1 seed (most likely GB).
